ok so near the end of summer i met this girl and we got really close and werent going out or anything and we have moved on but i still cant get over it, i feel so AFCish.

Think of it like a cut. At first it's starting to scab over (your mind become distracted) but if you keep picking at it, it will keep bleeding and never heal. What you got to do is just leave it be and just let it heal. It takes time but when it's done all you'll be left with is a scar and you'll be able to move on and live your life.
