Getting Numbers. Where to jot them down.

I have little problem lately getting numbers but I do wonder if the way I get them is kinda... I dono just not cool. Right now my way is to wip out my phone and add her to my phonebook right away. Making sure the number is correct and all that. I have been thinking that isnt the best way to do it. I have thought of putting it in my PDA so i dont fill my phone up with numbers i forget to who they go to but wipping that bad boy out probably isnt the best way to keep your IL up either lol..
Paper and pencil is good i would guess but i dont carry many writing sticks around nor do i have a pad or paper.

So whats the best way? Is there a best way? Is getting the number all that matters?

I still probably will store all the numbers into my pda so i keep a seperate collection of numbers to choose from.

sounds good. havent gotten a fake number yet but i do keep my eyes open for it.

As for the pen thing.. I should probably grab a small pad to carry around and the stylus for my pda is a pen/stylus combo so i can just use that. Not to big and hey it just looks like a pen.

Stick with your cell man. I don't know a single girl who's ever lost interest simply because I got my cell phone out to get their number. I mean where is it going to end up anyway? Typically I let the girl put her number into my phone or I'll put mine in in theirs then one of us will call the number so its like a swap.

Pencil and paper? Hell if you're going to go through all that you might as well just have your own buisness cards printed out that you can divy on the fly.

It is a good idea to keep your numbers seperate though. I try to keep the ratio of girls to guys numbers in my phone fairly even. The last thing you want is her to be snooping through your phone and her finding 200 girls and like 6 dudes you know, that doesn't look very good.

I always take my cellphone with. when i ask for their number, I GIVE THEM MY FONE TO WRITE IT DOWN, SO I CAN CONTINUE WITH THE TALK AND take the oppurtunity to compliment her, once she gives me her number, i take my fone and i say "repeat ur number again" - this way you find out if she is lying or not.

Aight I just wondered on that. I do also have kinda a BIG phone. (Sprint TOSHIBA VM4050) and im guessing you hand it to them when it is set to type in the # cause this phone has a few steps to get to the enter number part.

As for business cards heck I have some lol. I do a part time business of fixing computers (my main job right now is Manual Labor with Concrete) but I just thought that would be kinda funky to hand her a BOB's Computer Repair card lol. I know all girls need computer work but I also know none of them want a Geek.
