I stumbled upon an easy and non-threatening way to get girls numbers without acting as if you are trying to pick them up.
You can use this in any non-pickup situation because it does not directly imply that you want to date the girl.
If you get into any sort of conversation with a hot broad. Say to her "Hey... do you want to come out to a party in about a week or so?" She'll say "Sure... where is it?" You say "I don't know the exact address... but... why don't I find out, then I'll give you a call."
She'll right down her number for sure!
Even if you're the ugliest specimen on earth... there's still a chance she'll give you her number.
This pick-up works because it isn't threatening to her, for her to give out her number. You aren't asking her out or even risking rejection so it is easy to pull off.
Now... The matter of the "Party". If you have a party to go to, you're golden. Just call her up early in the week and say "The party I was talking about is on Saturday...blah blah blah... Are you busy on Tuesday? Do you want to go out for a drink?"
She'll probably say "Yes" but if she doesn't, say to her "What??? do you think I'm just gonna invite a complete stranger to a party... I have to get to know them first."
If you don't have a party to go to, do this. Call her up after the weekend this "party" was supposed to take place and say "I went to the party and it wasn't very good so I decide not to call you" or say "I forgot to call you". Then, proceed to ask her out on a date.

Another solution, if you don't have a party to go to is this. Pick her up as if you intended to go with her to the "party" and then say that you were already there and it sucked. Then proceed to take her out for a drink somewhere else.
