"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

if i flirt and talk to girls 99% of the time in person and I only text to set up a meet am i on the right track? my "text game" sucks but i'm great at flirting in person. all the flirting i use, from explicit sexual flirting, to negs, to subtle flirty comments seems to get girls to respond positively but im not sure if my techniques will work in college. am i on the right track for getting girls in college or do i need to really improve my text game first? btw im a junior in h.s. also im just worried that with my texting game being so bad if i text a girl for anything other than setting up a meet i will get friendzoned. please give me some advice. also im really confident and can easily get a girls number so self confidence is not an issue.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I don't think you should worry about texting game. Honestly, I never text women (or anyone for that matter) without a specific purpose, such as to set up a time to hang out or anything else logistics-related.

text game is even easier than regular game because you have unlimited time to think about everything you say and do before you say/do it, its also far, far, less worthwhile and effective, but still.

unless they're somehow high school specific, or specifically wouldn't work in college for some reason, then you're fine

if you can get girls now, then you'll probably do atleast ok in college.

if she wouldn't friendzone you irl she won't friendzone you because of your texts, barring you somehow being radically different over text than you are normally.

by self confidence, i meant confidence in going up to them and talking to them/flirting/making conversation in person, not over text

Dude, you're on the right track! Don't listen to all these dudes that say text game is necessary - texting KILLS relationships. Unless you're setting up a date with a girl or sending her details on how to get where you're going to meet up, the majority of your communication should be in person. Too many things can get misinterpreted via text, especially if it becomes a thing where you text her and it ends up taking hours for her to get back to you. I once had a girl get mad at me for not responding back to a text she sent for 10 hours 'cause I was on a studio set where they didn't let us have phones. This is why I tell girls when I meet them that I'm not much of a phone/text guy. If you establish this with them in the beginning, you won't have to worry about it being a problem later on. Hope this helps!

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

from what I've observed, guys who were successful at pulling ***** in high school had success in college as well, I think the majority of guys who have girlfriends in college, hook-up in college very likely had those positive experiences in high school as well, well at least the majority

You've heard the basics about college dating: more types of guys, more freedom, and more mature relationships (hopefully). But with close living quarters, no parents, and stressful classes, things get intense, and college has its own soap operas. Read on for the inside dirt you'd have no way of knowing until you're on campus — and need to know if you already are. Great sources!

My high school game sucked. When I got to college it exploded. It's all a numbers game bro.

Also, if you're better in person then GAME HER IN PERSON. When you get her number, just text her to set up an in-person date! If you don't answer her texts or respond minimally - HER INTEREST WILL INCREASE. Yes it's crazy.

Don't become her texting buddy. Just use it as a tool to get her to meet you in person.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
