"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

This has really fascinated me. I get women blocking me who I have no intention of ever messaging again. I had one block me on and off over the course of one year. One woman I dumped blocked me about 5 months later. Why after so long?

I have a feeling it's their way of getting the "last word" in. They're obviously pissed off and I guess trying to... ummm... make me feel bad? Give me what I deserve? I dunno. Perhaps it's just an emotional reaction.

There's also the ones who don't block me, but I think there's two sides of the coin to that. They either wanna keep checking in on me or didn't care about me enough to bother blocking me.

The whole thing just fascinates me.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

It's totally the "last word" thing. You can apply it to tons of things, not only facebook, and a lot of people do it, not just women. For example, I had a friend long time ago who got into the whole weed scene really hard. He was a trainwreck and got really mean with his old friends, so I told him and stop meeting with him. He kept wanting to meet up and apologize for weeks, and when I accepted he told me that he didn't want to anymore.

Agree with your opinion, it probably the only way they feel they have some power over you, its no different than those guys going at the pawn shop offering their trash and then say that they wont go in that shop anymore once they get rejected.

Agree also on the second part, those other girls that dont block you simply dont care that much about taking any "revenge" against you.

Okay... Facebook should be ONLY for life long friends and family. I would NEVER bring an woman I'm dating into that circle... but that is just me.

Having said that... the fact that you NOTICED you were blocked is the problem, not the fact she did this. I know this is just a question on the forum, for discussion, but IMO, if this happens to you you should not even notice it. So what.. if you notice stuff like this than it means at some level you care. You should give this no more thought that a cat crossing your yard... there's the cat... now it's gone.

If I didn't take the time to notice 5hit like this, then I wouldn't learn anything about women.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

You know, women have forums they read in which it's written that to get over an ex they should go NC, delete their phone number and block their FB account, take care of themselves and/or go have casual s€x because it makes them feel sooooooooooooooooooooo good...

Often, those kind of messages are followed by a vindicative : "Women Power!".

Bah...

Why after so long? She's just inadvertently seen a pics of you and got tired of seeing your face so she blocked you.

Is there anything to learn about this? Yah, get the **** away from FB...

Which is why I said I understand this is a question for discussion. I think it is worth talking about, but my advice is sound.

I think it's about getting the last word in as well OP, especially if you sensed she liked you more. Happened to me early last year with a Milf who i classed as a FWB. She blocked me on FB and whatsapp about two months after our last encounter. The only problem was she conveniently took my Hugo Boss watch and left it in her bag after she stayed at mine.

So i made it a point to get my watch back (even tho 2 months had passed) and asked why she blocked me. She gave me short answers and told me that i was ignoring and using her hence the block, which she was right i guess. So i had a level of respect for her there.

I've seen her out in a bar since and she would grab my hand as she's brushing past me leading some guy so she's acting in-congruent with her blocking tactic.

I guess it's a power play. Never did get my watch back.

It's also to protect their ego.
After blocking you she will fantasize in her head thereafter, of all the attempts you've made of contacting her.
You might even be holding a nice bouquet of flowers waiting at the altar for her.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
