It seems that many of us here (including myself) tend to seek dates when we are in a position of weakness.
Online dating - we're in a huge position of weakness. These women are getting 100+ messages per day, and they are using men for attention. Even if you get a reply, you'll only go out on a date with 1/10 of them unless you look like Channing Tatum.
Facebook - see above. You have no power if you try to hit up a girl through FB because if she's a girl worth pursuing, that means she has dozens of beta orbiters and you're disposable to her.
Cold approaching - this is better IMO, but the problem here is that if we cold approach, we have no social status to the girl. In order to women to trust you, she needs to see you in your element (there are exceptions of course). But for the most part, you're just an average guy to her and the only way you can really stand out is if your pickup game is impeccable.
Bars - this is hit or miss. The chicks you mess with at the club/bar are seeking attention (at least the hot ones are) and if you are one of the 20 guys who hits on her, you are in a position of weakness because SHE has the power to choose.
I am proposing some ways to talk to a girl in which you are in a position of power:
Hiring women - my cousin's ex husband is a doctor and he pounds his secretaries. These women see him in a position of power and thus their legs are spread. A huge opportunity I think is if you're a photographer. Most hot women want to be photographed, and if you do this you at least have some sort of status to her…I know some will guys laugh at this but I see guys doing this successfully. And think of the porn producers who are getting laid all the time for free.
Hosting a workshop - hold a workshop on something you're passionate about. For me, it's public speaking. Whenever I go to public speaking events, I'm pretty sought after and I have women approaching me instead of the other way around.
Meetups - if you're a group organizer in a meet up, you have instant status and women will see this as a aphrodisiac. The more group members you have, the more she will be attracted to you because she knows you have friends. I have gotten laid just from a woman seeing the friends I have…trust me, this works.
Get a job that makes you look attractive - it's no surprise that DJ's (disc jockeys) get the hottest pvssy. Think about the pvssy that Tiesto gets. He's pretty much the man, and DJ's don't even need to be attractive to get laid. If you have some sort of talent or skill that is attractive to women, that will work better than cold approach 100% of the time. I used to play jazz bass, and when I was, I was pulling all kinds of tail.
