Broke up with the g/f on Sunday. We live together. Not wanting this to drag on, I said I would move out on Thursday so that I can get my freedom and start to move on as quickly as possible. I also wanted to avoid being AFC sticking around and allowing myself to wallow in her memory.

The thing is I paid all the bills, aka rent and utilities, however I have no desire to stay there without her. aka pay rent on a apt for myself when I have no furniture.

I'd rather rent a furnished bachelor pad at about half the price I was paying for our apt together. My plan was to sleep on a friends couch until the end of the month when I get a new place.

Considering my friend lives about 30 minutes farther from my work, and I'm currently working 2 jobs, 14 hours a day, do you think I would be in my right to continue to stay at our apt until the 1st, less than 10 days.

From Sunday till now we've shared the same bed and have had sex. She is getting the couches today so I would have a separate place to sleep for the rest of the time.

What does everyone think? I've managed to keep my composure and am looking forward to having my freedom and extra money ( not supporting her and being able to do things I couldn't when i was with her) Should I stay in the apt I've paid for or get the fvck out?

I'm glad she wants to stay, gonna save me $400/month. I don't want all that extra

This situation should be less about convenience and more about moving on. So you have to get up an hour earlier to make it to work than you did before, big fukin' deal. The fact that your still fuvking her shows that she's trying to hold on to you in some way. If you keep this up for another week and half, letting go of her will be a lot harder than it has to be.

Get the fuvk outta of there and sux it up for 10 days, sleep on your friends couch and be done with it.



*EDIT* Dude, I just read the other few posts you made and you need to GET THE FUVK OUT NOW!!! Your tangled in this web a lot more than you led us to believe and you know it. Its never easy moving on, especially when you moved so far away to be with your gf. Where are you priorities dude, what about your daughter?? If I had a little girl, she would be my #1 girl. Not hating, just pointing out what might have been lost in the mess.

I still think she should leave, since she can go back to her parents. You better get your name off the lease, and what about the bond.

These posters seem to care so much about being DJs that they throw out basic good business principles. You already said she wasn't paying, so who do you think is going to pay?

Next the parents will be bad mouthing you saying you ran out leaving her to pay for your lease. She should get the hell out.
