"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Hey all,

This is my third post on this name, but I'm not new to the DJ forums. I found them three years ago, back when it was the old brown ugly UBB. It made a difference in my life -- it took me from being a total chump, to a reasonably cool guy.

It did NOT make me some kind of legendary pimp though. Or even give me above average game. Why? Because I didn't put it in practice enough.

Most of the guys on here think that if they go out maybe one a week, do five approaches, and eject when the going gets rough they are going to make progress and improve their game. WRONG. This is not enough. It's like doing two sets of bench a week, and expecting get jacked.

I know that back when I posted a lot on this forum, I wouldn't even do that. I'd just sit back, maybe talk to a few chicks in social circle, rarely ever go for any kind of close.

The reason why my game has gone from below average to above average in the last six months is that I have been IN-FIELD FOR AT LEAST 30 SETS A WEEK. And I don't eject, I ALWAYS go for a close on any set which opens.

90% of the people on this forum and ASF are armchair seductionists who read read read, but never do anything. People just make **** up off the top of their heads that they *think* might work with women, and then post it instead of posting something proven to be successful by experience. If you're really serious about improving your life and your game...you have to get out into the real world.

If you want to get big...lift at least three days a week.
If you want to get good grades...study a lot
And if you want to become good with women...DO AT LEAST 30 APPROACHES A WEEK.

Another tip I have for you. Find like-minded guys, it makes doing approaches so much easier and more fun. If you go out with friends who don't approach themselves, and try to ****block you when you approach, it just makes it that much harder. Find some friends who share your interests.

A good way to do this is to find a local lair. A myth perpetuated on sosuave.com is that lairs are merely local extensions of ASF, and that everyone in the lair uses routine-heavy, gimmicky techniques.

This is not true. I myself use almost no routines, and I dislike gimmicks and indirect techniques designed to fake like you aren't interested in the girl. My usual opener is DIRECT:

Dan: Hey, can I tell you something?
HB: Sure!
Dan: I think you're really cute and I want to meet you. My name's Dan.

People might say this is AFC, blah blah blah. But those people aren't getting laid and I am. Opening direct works awesome if you project a laid-back, non-needy vibe. You don't need to play games and invent pretexts to talk to women if you are a cool guy.

So, just because I'm curious, I'd like anybody who is out there in the real world doing approaches to reply to this thread with how many approaches you do in an average week. Thanks.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

What is the deal with the "lairs"? I never really wanted to mess with that because I had, like you said, believed it was one of those extensions of ASF where they use "patterning" and "Mystery Method" or whatever all the time. In fact, do they even respond to newbies? It sounds like some clandestine meeting of "super-PUAs" that doesn't have time to teach people ****.

I've checked the 1-1000 thread out, it's good ****. An excellent example of someone going out and working towards what he wants, instead of sitting around and complaining he doesn' t have it.

spider_007 -- It's possible that he's lying, but I'd say it's not likely. In any case, I'd say the reason you're saying this is that you don't wish to admit to yourself that there are people actually out there, doing hundreds and hundred of approaches, because it makes you feel lazy for not doing any. Maybe he is lying, but even if he is, there ARE lots of guys out there who do tons of cold approaches. I'm one of them, and I know about ten other guys who do also. Doing one thousand cold approaches is very possible.

squirrels - This is also what I thought. However, this stuff isn't even true about ASF. Speed Seduction is dead. Ross Jeffries is laughed at every time he tries to post on ASF. The very few guys who still use it don't use patterns anymore.

Mystery Method is still an important influence, but in my opinion it's also on the way out. Not because it doesn't work -- it works great, just like Speed Seduction. But because, like speed seduction, it's way too complicated and gimmicky. You don't need to put on a fvckin magic show in order to get chicks. You can, but you don't need to. Also, using a lot of routines can be useful for one-night stands, but routines are useless for relationships. If you're a mediocre guy reciting attractive routines, even it works

A lot of the guys in the lairs don't even post on ASF. I don't myself. The thing which we all have in common is that we all love to go out and meet women doing cold approaches. Everybody has a different style, but nobody is a routine machine. I myself use mostly direct followed by regular convo, with some simple opinion openers for groups. I'm pretty typical of the Boston Lair, and I know maybe five short routines altogether, maybe enough to talk for like four or five minutes if I did them all together.

Dimitri and Vincent teach a direct, non-canned style of game also. They do teach some elements of indirect style, but most of what they teach is aimed to make you an attractive guy, not a boring guy using attractive routines. This is why they can have multiple successful relationships, instead of just a string of one-night stands.

There are some guys in the community who think they are too "high value" to condescend to teach newbies, but we are not like that in my lair. Like, there's this one guy who I've gone out with a few times in the past couple months. He had big approach anxiety for a while, and now he's approaching but rarely closing. I actually like sarging with him because he's fun to hang out with, and just has a few issues with his inner beliefs. But the thing is, you can tell he's going to be good because he's out there doing what he fears most, and he's made great improvements since I first met him.
