This is dedicated to people who, like me, didn't have the courage to go out and sarge when first starting out. To those who just want (or wanted) to read and understand the material before ever using it.
You need CONTEXT. And the field will give you that context.
I was a KJ for a damn long time - 9 months. When I finally started going in field, I crashed and I burned. But I kept working on my game. I learned new ways besides five questions to get girls' numbers. I learned some things NOT to say when you're just meeting a girl and are trying to attract her.
I didn't understand just how little I knew until I had my first kiss. Yes, that's right: I hadn't even kissed a girl before I found the community. To say it was a bad kiss would be an understatement. The girls' response? "You're definitely gay."
I lost the girl as a result of that. So I made learning how to kiss my #1 priority. At first, whenever I tried a k-close in field, it was a bad kiss, which would kill my chances with her in the future. It sure beats wasting your time with the girl on a day2 (which I also did a lot of.)
I'm starting to ramble. Whatever the case, the point I'm trying to make is that learning the concepts important to PU is one thing, but learning how to apply them is something else. You NEED TO PRACTICE to get any good. More importantly, you need to learn how to apply the concepts you learn in the community to your individual game.
