and can teach you a lot that transfers just fine to real guns and shooting. A good 1911 variant is $150 at Amazon, and the cost per shot is about 1/2c., It will take you many books read and videos watched, and 10,000 BB's fired before you'll have learned all you're going to learn (with either hand) that an Airsoft can teach you. Saving you 12x per shot vs .22's, and 25c per shot vs 9mm ammo. you're a good $1500 ahead by starting with airsoft. add in the costs of travel to the range, and range fees, and the saving is 2k, and ou don't learn bad habits, like flinching from the noise. many things that you can learn with airsoft (ie, man vs man actual shooting at each other ) CANNOT be learned with live ammo.
