Two is generally accepted as being a bit more normal looking. Also, make sure you try to have multiple girls in your life. Not necessarily mLTRs, but more than one girl. A bunch of them can be friends, as long as you've got a fun kind of relationship and you're not being used as an emotional tampon. It keeps you from being needy around other girls, to an extent.
