I was raised by a woman....and the only way i could turn out more f-ed up then i am now is if i was rased by two gay men.....I can just see it, their disapointment that thair "son" ended up straight, and that they can't teach him how to go d*ck hunting....

Maybe in San Francisco people are ready for that, but I think anywhere else, one would doom the kid to a lifetime of perpetual teasing. It makes me think of the Johnny Cash song, "A Boy Named Sue."

I'm against. I'm not at all homophobic and I don't buy into the religious/moral arguments. But I believe a child needs input from a strong male and a strong female model in order to achieve a psychological balance. I know that's not always possible, but I doubt many people would choose to be a single parent.

I also believe that a child with gay parents (especially a boy) is going to get bullied so badly at school for it, and no one should be underestimating the damage of bullying. No child should have to endure that.

It's a nice thought for an ideal world, but not practical in this one.

I wouldn't really mind, people are just people, if two Homosexual parents wanted to adopt, let them, it's not a "sick crime". They just want to have a child, but cannot show attraction, or is unable to show attraction towards a person of the opposite sex.

I happen to be Bisexual, and let's face it, we live in a society where no one really cares anymore, if you are straight or not, Just don't go and public humiliate yourself and/or others. Why bring someone down for the way they are, you are only going to get judged later on anyways, So the next time you see two guys kissing, or two girls kissing, go about your own business, they are only doing what feels right to them. No harm in it.

The only way this would matter is if you were gay...and wanted to adopt. I don't think there are very many gay, family oriented guys on this site.

(Personally, I think gay guys should adopt little girls, lesbians can adopt boys. It works it self out in an ironic sort of way.)

I thin adoption should be banned. Orphaned kids should be placed into special government centres where they can be trained to be soldiers. Its a win-win situation!
