Hey gentlemen!
I have been reading some discussions here and must say I am very impressed with how thought through your actions are. I was hoping that with a little bit of luck you might share some tips on how a girl can read when she is being played?
I have been seeing this very intelligent man in his mid 30s (I am late 20s) for a bit less than 2 months. I believe I am a pretty good catch for him and wasn't so interested to start with, however he got me really intrigued and hooked up on him..
We met online, went out a couple of times and it seemed to be full on - he would call every night and we met up maybe 5-6 times at that point, one time didn't go so well though and he went quiet. I figured it was over and called for a closure few days later. To my surprise he was super keen and wanted to see me all the time after. In his words he was just busy but there was definitely space in his life for me (I didn't ask).
The same story happened later - after being on for a week or two he went quiet, I called for a closure nearly a week later and he was really keen again. That evening he initiated a talk:
He said he is in a selfish period of his life when he has to spend most of his time working and figuring out his life so he is not sure he can commit, additionally his last relationship ended badly. As it has not been so long we are in a natural early stage of what could turn out a relationship but is currently casual so either way we need to go through it. He does spend every Saturday with me and I am a girl he wants to wake up with in the morning and we are exclusive, it's just not committed. I didn't say much back.
I can see that he cares, puts in effort, cooks for me, takes me out, shares interests and even compromises on seeing friends..
But! Then he just goes quiet for days (it's been happening more and more) and doesn't plan in advance. Is he playing me?
