This is interesting. I'm 22, and nearly all my life (or rather whole time through HS) I couldn't budge 140-145 lbs. I was/am 6'2 so I guess you could consider me "underweight". I was always the skinny kid. I wanted to gain weight. It didn't matter even if it was fat. I was in weights class for a year, gained about 5 lbs, then lost it immediately I stopped. The whole gym thing has been an on/off thing for me for several years. I'd get close to 150 and always lose it.

Well now, I'm currently unemployed. Looking, of course. But I'm not on my feet all day like how I used to. I went on the scale, to find myself 165 lbs. I got curious when I was looking in the mirror and thought, damn, I'm starting to fill out. So yeah, I'm unemployed, drink beer regularly, and for some reason I'm on this kick about eating breakfast at night. I always cook eggs, bacon, smoked ham, toast, sausage, and throw in olives and pepperoncini's. I eat this about every single night, and well, what do you know.. I'm gaining weight.

The thing is, I don't feel bad about it. I'm starting to like my image. I'm looking less skinny. Granted, it's not "muscular" or "toned" it's just more "filling" in the areas I've lacked. Everyone used to tell me "eat kid", and now I feel like I fit the image of the skinny kid who ate.

I guess I really don't have a question. More or less of commentary/rant of sorts. I don't think it's possible for me to ever get extremely fat, but it is a worry of mine. So if I have any question at all, it's whether there's some senior members here who were skinny their whole life reach their ideal weight, then just kept growing? I have no interest in being muscular, I just want a normal weight, something not considered "skinny" but average. Did you/ or anyone you know kept growing? When's the time to start hitting the gym or change my lifestyle?
