"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I got a text this morning from my now ex-g/f saying that "things arent going to work between us, wish it would have, sorry, thanks for a good time"

I dont plan on ever calling her back or messaging her back , but WTF kinda of chicken **** way is this to break off a relationship ?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Women hate conflicts and will try to avoid it if they can. That been said it seems your girlfriend had moved on (possibly with another guy) and since she doesn't feel anything for you anymore, for her its the appropriate response.

No interest = no effort.

Yes she is immature and a liar. Don't do anything to try to contact her, she didn't do any effort and neither should you. NEXT!!!

im 22 years old and she is 27 .... this was just a mess of BS ... we were in this for 2 months and all I heard was problems and more problems on her end , she couldnt get over her ex, she was always bringing up the fact that I would have to move away next month after college was over for me, and one day started distancing herself for no reason (i asked but always got "its me not you...Im fine ... blah blah")

I feel insulted by this and am appalled at the way this was done ... NOT even a voicemail ... Im sure she'll be happy getting back with her ex-b/f the tattoo guy !!!

just absurd - women these days for ya !

Things like this seriously make me wonder if women do need a good slap (literaly)?

Because it seems to work for the wife beaters.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

I've seen some spineless sh1t in my day, that right there goes to the top of the list. But I suppose you should be grateful that she even gave you any acknowledgement at all. Most girls these days are so gut-less, they just stop answering your calls and ignore you until you get the hint.

exactly. i have had that happen: we will be dating for a few weeks and then they just stop returning your calls

i think some girls just dont like to be direct and forthright about how they feel. they wanna be all passive and non-confrontational, not realizing that it actually hurts you worse when they try to spare your feelings, because it fvcks with your head

it's messed up.

Most of those wife beaters are behind bars now... u planning on joining them any time soon?

TxCowboy: She used u as a rebound guy and a emotional tampon that she told all her problems to... and once she was done with you, she realised that you were just the rebound guy and that she didn’t REALLY like u in that way.. and that’s about it, she moved on. This type of thing happens all the time, and yes, its cruel, but you need to just make sure that you are NOT the emotional tampon and that you do NOT end up being a "rebound guy" after she breaks up.

The WAY in which she broke up with you was insulting, yes, but she probably didn’t know how else to say it... maybe she felt so sh!t about doing it that she just couldn’t tell it to you to your face? .. You never know.... but one thing that you need to do is use this as a learning experience, and make sure you do not end up in this position again in the future.

Best of luck....

I think you hit the nail on the head there !!

Heh ... and to think of all the BS that I had to put up with the whole time was for nada! I now realize that she wanted to use me until her ex b/f came back from vacation in Mexico .... the timing of all this WAS very coincidental ... I also found yesterday that she started saying she was going to sleep at 10 every night and it "just so happened" that , that's when this other dude got off of work .... :D ....

Thanks for all the advice !

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
