Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

We broke up about 4 months ago and were together for almost 2 years and lived together. we got a dog and raised it talked about marriage buying a house etc.. When we broke up i took the dog cause i wanted her, with no intention of using her as some might think. So i havent seen her in a couple of months. ive talked to her maybe once every other week or so. My parents came into town along with some other relatives so my dog chewed up my moms expensive shoes and flipped out. so i decided fvck it im calling up my ex and letting her keep her until my parents leave. she agreed and everything. but when i was talking to her there was the deep emotion involved it wasnt like yatta yatta yatta ok cool see ya like how it was the previous times.

Shes going through stress right now with school (masters degree) trying to figure out wtf to do. she was sad on the phone and i was like whats wrong she told me everything i was like its ok dont worry about it do what you wanna do etc. after talking to her i want to just tell her when i see her that i still love her and will be there for her. Shes possibly moving down to the city where i live in a cuople of months. we broke up cause she was stressed out with school and couldnt handle it and didnt know about what she wanted in life (so she says). i was talking to another girl for a couple of months after i broke up but i still want to be with her. I know its stupid to say anything tomorrow about maybe working it out but fvck im so overwhelmed with emotion just after talking to her it sucks. any other day i would be like fvck that b1tch but after our convo i was like fvck man maybe i still love her and want to be with her. what should i do tomorrow when i see her? Is it normal to feel like i need to be there for her?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

She left you once over stress and you think she won't do it again? One phone conversation changed it all?

Common bro, you're better than that. Move on. There are plenty of fish in the sea!

Easist way to cure oneitis.

Try it but dont get your hopes up. If it doesnt work. MOVE ON....NOW!

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

oh mate, i just read your old posts! You better do so aswell and rethink your plans for tomorrow!

you are NOT IN LOVE, you are infatuated...

i think you posted this for a reason. you are still insecure and deep within yourself you know its wrong to meet her again. but you also know you are weak, which is primarily nothing to be ashamed of. but staying weak and listening to your temporary emotions will lead you the wrong way. change your course NOW. you shouldnt even see her. if you must, keep it short. we dont wanna hear another whining thread next week but a winners thread!

i may quote:
YOU are the MAN! For if you don’t STAND for something, you shall FALL for everything! POOK

wish you all the best
