"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Yeah good luck convincing a girl to spend the night.

That thing will crawl on you when you sleep and mistake your nutsack to a mouse. Its not going to end pretty.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I kinda want to get one of those giant centipedes now as a pet. I've had piranhas and other kinds of "dangerous" pets, but a giant centipede, now there's something you don't see every day.

In fact, I think that's the one pet that I might actually have to THINK about keeping in the house.

Just imagine...it's getting close to bedtime.....you go into the living room and say goodnight to your footlong giant centipede....it looks up at you, baring it's fangs and tries to come at you through the glass....you laugh at it and go "aww, how cute....goodnight centipede"...and you go to bed......you wake up in the middle of the night and head to the fridge to grab a bit to eat....on the way back to your bedroom, you happen to glance over at the centipede's little aquarium....hmmm....it's not there, maybe it's hiding under something.....nope.....uhh....oh my god.....you freeze in place and your eyes start darting around the floor....oh my god oh my god.....****! What about the kids! My wife! What if it's crawling into my child's mouth!....or what if it found a new home inside my wife's snatch?!?!?

Just imagine how freaky that would be. They're good escape artists apparently.
I've always been into exotic pets from snakes, big-ass monitor lizards and large bird-eating spiders, scorpions, rhino beetles, etc.

Women really DO NOT like bugs. Guys and kids will think it's cool. But women are really freaked out by that ****.

Chicks who are more rocker or goth types tend to think it's pretty cool. Otherwise you might have to put the suckers away. Most regular chicks get creeped out by them and by proxy - you.
I feed my goliath bird-eating spider mice...women don't like to hear that stuff.

I've had some of my giant scorpions and tarantulas get out of their cage. It
can get pretty hairy trying to corale them back in.

The pluses are that they are really easy to take care of. They're not filthy like cats and dogs. Your bathroom won't smell like god damn cat piss because the litter box is in there. Or your backyard won't be covered in dog turds...so you can have people over for a bbq or party and not worry about stepping in dog shyte when you step outside.

Bugs make good pets. Might just want to keep them on the down low when you bring women over.

Bugs and snakes etc don't have any affection for you like a dog or cat, regardless of the sh1t factor. They won't play with you, chicks don't like them, and they want to kill you always..sounds like a good pet.

dude i read the article that you linked to the thread.
it says they eat other bugs like roaches, flies, etc
it also says that they rarely bite and it is equal to a bee sting as far as how it hurts.
i think i would rather have cenitpedes over stupid ****roaches anyday... haha.
honestly it doesnt sound like it will harm you any.

say "holy cow wtf is that "?
then run outta the house and take the girl to get coffee somewhere and ask her what she thinks they are. tell her you dreamed about playing some old atari game all night and those things look like something on the game.

then ask her if she will help you find out what they are and find out how to get rid of them.

then you got her set up for a date to come over and help you figure out what they are. and you got a date to help you exterminate them.

dude, i think you owe me a little debbie for that plan.

What is a little debbie? (not familier with your midwest slang, but it sounds kinky.)

As for your suggestion, it defeats the purpose of having the girl over in the first place. Running to a coffee shop is like taking two steps back. I already have her in my place and the next destination is MY BED!! and if there are bugs jumping around that look like they came from a horror movie, it ain't going to happen.

The best solution is to get rid of those things and that's that.

Centipedes are so fuggin cool.

I love the way they amble along so awkwardly, yet so fast. Amuses the hell outta me, for some reason. Very interesting creatures.

DID YOU KNOW??

You know, there are more insects than animals put together, AND they were the first life forms on land.... except for small bushes and simple plants.
...and they're probably gonna be the LAST ...

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I ****ing hate insects. I saw those videos on the giant centipedes, and god, I feel like when I got mazed. I'm turning around constantly to see if there's one of those ****ing aliens behind me or in the ceiling, swear to god.

Those ****ers get in my house, and I'll get mother****ing weapons of mother****ing destruction on their asses. Iran has nothing on my WMDs!

Most insects and insectlike creatures can slip through tiny crevices far smaller than their exterior dimensions.

Count on the damned thing escaping eventually, unless the cage is hermetically sealed.

Well considering it'd be in an aquarium, you know, designed to keep in water, I doubt it'll be that hard to keep it in. Unless it's a T-1000 model centipede? Now THAT'd be scary.
