"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Hey you all, I know I am the greatest thing to happen to sosuave since sliced bread, but as you may or may not know, I just moved to a new school, and have had some trouble adjusting, because I never had a crew/possy/clique or whatever.

Well fear not, I now do.

Went to a football game, hung out with John, or I shall call him Jesus, since that is who he looks like, assuming Jesus wasn't a chick.

So I hang out with him, and then I end up hanging out with all his pals, and now I know a quite large group of people.

They aren't exactly the social group, as they aren't the most popular, but they are my type of people, and they are tons of fun.

Congradulate me, only took like a month, instead of the proposed 3 month plan.

I also called up this chick, to see if she wanted to hang, but she had family plans, and couldn't.

But still, this is an improvement, because as soon as I get a group, I can start really getting some chicks. Or atleast my life won't be absent of things to do after school.

Oh and can I sing the praises of www.xanga.com ?

Because everyone at my school has it, and you should really try and find out what people at your school use, because it really helps out.

Guess this thread seems kind of useless, but it isn't, since I wrote it, and if you read deep enough into it, you can find some extraordinary insight.

But I also found out our foot ball team sucks.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Theres a thing in school called reputation / social ladder / social value.

Perhaps had you befriended the popular group that would be something to brag about.

Congratulations, I guess. Although...unless you're joking, I don't think that you should hold yourself as highly as you do in relation to other people. I think that it's good that you're confident, a little ****y, confidence is good. You may know more than other people, but all you're really doing is comparing yourself to the people who know less than you do or are less experienced. That might make you feel good, but it's deceiving and it won't get you very far. That, I think, is the problem with arrogance and self-importance. But I do think that arrogance can help you get girls, if you can back it up.
