I remember growing a full on beard when it was the in thing to do years back and I lost count how many times women would come up to me on nights out asking for a feel. It was always a great ice breaker.
I've trimmed it down loads since then and it still works for me. I just make sure I keep it tidy and use oils and balm to help look after it. There's no point growing a beard if you're not going to look after it.
