"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

From now on I will take the hint and quit.

This isn't something that I have done but what a chick is doing. I talked to this chick one time online one night before I went to bed. And I met her a few days later. She wasn't bad looking, but just wasn't my type and she also has a kid at age 18 which is a huge turnoff, so I was just gonna next her. Well, it is not that simple, she keeps on messaging me and I just ignore her messages and I thought that she would get the hint and stop. Well that was not even close to being the case at all. She still constantly messages me and doesn't stop and it has been close to three weeks since I messaged back.

When I got off work tonight, I got online and I turned my ICQ on and she was online. She saw that I had just logged on and messaged me. Normally I ignore her but that is when my ICQ has been on for a while and I have my away icon on and she doesn't know if I am there or not. Tonight she knew that I was online so it would be very obvious I was ignoring her. The only reason that I replyed back was because my step-dad works with her and I didn't wanna bring my drama of me ignoring her to him. So anyway here is basically how the conversation goes.

Her: Hello?

Me: Hey

Her: Who is this?

Me: ZZIRF25

Her: Are you sure.

Me: Yep

Her: Well that sucks because I gotta get off the computer because my sis needs it, I really wanted to talk to you.

Me: Ok

Her: So what do you think?

Me: About what?

Her: Me....

Me: I don't really know you.

Her: Looks wise.

Me: About a 6 on a 10 scale.

Her: Thanks a lot.

Her: I'll talk to you later.

Me: Ok

And that was about it. I think she was offended by me saying she was a mere 6, so I hope that she will leave me alone now. But I don't know if she will or not because by me saying this could only make her want to prove herself to me. I want to go totally AFC if I talk to her again, but I don't know if it will work since she is more AFC that I have ever been in my life. She is constantly asking my step-dad about me and just doesn't seem to get the point when I ignore her. I know I shoulda ignored her tonight but, I didn't for the reasons above. I never physically see her so I don't have to worry about that, I just want her to quit sending me these messages trying to make me feel guilty about ignoring her. Honestly I am a little freaked out because I think that even if I straight up told her I didn't like her that she still wouldn't leave me alone. What would you fellow DJ's do?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Just tell her that you didn't feel any chemistry with her and wish her luck in finding the right guy.

That's what I do when a guy I'm not interested in pursues me.

I only know one person who has ever f*cked someone they met online. And she was a sorority hooker so I barely even count that.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

since you are talking about it, i think you are interested in at least keeping her as an option

if you really aren't you should help you and her by avoiding her

Just tell her "ur not my type" or "I only wanna be friends." Dont be like the female population and just ignore her and make her wonder, why stoop to their level?

Yeah, good point and I know what you mean! You have learned how annoying it is when people don't take the hint! Therefore, you know never to act the same way with women.

It amuses me how guys start whining about how mean and b1tchy a girl has been to them, but they forget to mention how they've been hounding her non-stop for weeks.

If you can't take the polite hints (flakiness, not returning calls etc) then don't be surprised if it's spelt out for you in not-so-polite terms.

haha yeah this dude is mad because she was chasing him and she quit. get your attention elsewhere and leave this girl alone.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
