"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

It seems that a lot of guys here complain about being friends with girls they want to date. On the other hand, I am interested in becoming friends with girls to get more social proof. I am in university right now. I figure that with female friends, you will have someone to introduce you to other females. They might hook you up with someone and they increase your social network.

I never had any female friends so I don't what to do. I guess in this case I should break all the DJ rules. I can act all AFC because I don't really care about ****ing them.

I've just met this girl and I want to be friends with her. Ofcourse, I'm going to have to hang with her for that to happen. What's the best way to go about this. Should I call her and say, "Hey there's this event going on.... you wanna come"? For all you guys who have the tendecy to turn more girls as friends than girlfriends, what's your secret? lol

Are most of your female friends a result of your failure to turn them into girlfriends? I bet that the girls are flattered that you asked them out but they aren't interested. But at the same time they want you around because it makes them feel good(because you like them).

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

when i was in hschool i had always alot of female friends and only a few male friends, dont really like the fake guys there , everyone was acting all though and **** and fake ... i was just myself and i found myself hanging around with only one chick at first cuz i was new to the shcool , but through her i met her mates and they introduced me to theyr other mates ... suddenly i was always sitting at a table full of 8 - 10 girls or more....
If u want friends and only friends then be yourself, dont be one of all the other guys around you trying to act all though and cool when theyr really not , im not saying be a total afc , cuz then u might become her biatch , but be yourself ...... help out if they need it .....and stuff like that , the things you would do for a mate.....

peace.....

c'mon guys..if you can't even hang out with a girl without
feeling all needy and having to get her approval- you have issues.

i have been through an issue like this already on here and
apparently ..some people really just don't get it.

HAVE FUN and things will take care of itself.
but if you find yourself thinking thoughts like
"this is getting nowhere" get your head out of your
a$$ and just enjoy yourself in her presence.
if you can't just hang out with girls without feeling like you have
some kind of "agenda" then go look for a wife/GF because
that's all you're really looking for.

girls are just people and if you enjoy your time with her or
them , so be it. and if you don't know how to be attractive
without being needy in the first place...

i have had plently of girls as friends that i was just friends
with and we got along just fine and if and when things
got "hot & heavy" it wasn't a big deal ,and neither one
busted out the "big guns" and talked about relationships
or getting any "deeper." it was just "cool like that".

i have a nagging feeling that ALOT of guys just aren't cool
enough to float around the grey area between friends/lovers-
without acting all weird and needing an explanation of
"where they are at" with a girl.

most guys think that unless they are boning the chick
or if things aren't progressing the way they are expecting
them to..they think and feel as if they are wasting their
time, rather then just enjoying their time with them.

"uh, i'd rather use my time wisely and be out looking for
another girl thats worth it and putting out! huh , huh..."
sure, right Kojack , with that kind of attitude i am suprised
ANY girl could stand your presence for anything more then five minutes.

the secret?
if you like her..GOOD FOR YOU!
there's no reason to communicate it to her verbally.
she most likely knows already. just be cool , and treat her
normally. if you do things and act like you have an agenda
or seek her approval she WILL see right through you.
go out, enjoy yourselves have a good time.
and if she pulls out some $hit like
"i am having such a good time, you are such a good friend...
i hope things never change..."
don't sweat it-
just reply with something like-
"look hun , i got enough friends, you can be friend only if
you show me your boobs ":D

c'mon , there's no way she'll take you seriouslly and she'll
know you're only kidding. it takes the energy up and switches
the frame around where you are now in full control.
or you can jus say something like-
"friends?! i actually want to tell you something, you mean alot to
me and i think i am really starting to like you , i really want things
to become more serious between us and i can't stand being freinds with you, actually i think i love you..."

most guys make the mistake of making it painfully obvious
that they want something from the girl and things totally
get screwed up in the process

There has been some confusion. I am not interested nor care about trying to make friends into girlfriends. I will try to rephrase my question when I come with a better one.
