"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

So this girl that I've been friends with for years is giving me major IOIs lately. We've always had a VERY close relationship with lots of sexual tension and flirting. She's in a LTR right now with this guy who is now of my best friends (I met him through her though).

If and when they break up, how long do I wait to go for it, seeing as she is definitely interested. I'm not looking to break up my buddys relationship and as long as they're together I'm not gonna do anything more than make her want me more ;). Its been fun the way it is, and I dont really care if/when they breakup... I just need a timetable for goin after a buddy's ex.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Find something else to do with your time unless they're already on the outs. Her intrest in you might be a really comfortable friend type situation so you could be reading too much into this in the first place. It's often very stressfull to date your friends ex even if the person specifically tells you that it's okay for you to do so, especially coming off a long term relationship where feelings where involved.

You are an ass hole as well (along with the other guy I just posted on).

If I were your buddy, I'd probably kick your ass.

Hooking up with your mate's ex

Mate, this is an absolute no-fly zone. Consider the cost-benefit.

PRMoon... You're probably right in all honesty. But lately I've realized that I've missed many opportunities with different "girl friends" that I don't even see or talk to anymore. I'm 19 years old... Odds are I won't see alot of the people I hang out with now after college anyway. Please tell me someone agrees somwhere? Lol, I KNOW i'm not the only person who has been here before..

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

lol... relax Ace, odds are we've all been here b4.

Bottom line... we're fvckin Men.
Odds are, one of our homey's has had a hot gf, that we've been attracted to.

Personally... I've been here. (Sorta there right now, lol... although he's not too tight of a friend)

But ya... I ended up hooking up w. my best-friend's ex girl, while we were in Europe travelling together. I resisted like hell, but the scenario, emotions, lust, and me c0ck and bullz got the best of me. First time in Europe, young at the time, a beautiful condo in Milan, I was doomed trying to hold out.

Anyways... I'm not gonna tell you what to do. Just gonna tell you the outcome of my own experience.

It felt great with her, and terrible towards my friend. Even though they had broken up 2months plus before... you still care for an ex. So ya... I told him, cause I just couldn't lie to a best-bud. Really fvcked our friendship up for awhile. He didn't talk to me for more than half a year. And sh!t was just fvcked.

Sucks losing a good bro.
We're bestfriends again now though. (So alls good)

But the BS of it, was sh!tty.
Even though I tell you all of that. I don't regret doing it though. I was being true to myself, my feelings, heart at the time. And its just unfortunate in such situations... that no matter what you do, someones going to get hurt. Even if its not-acting on it... that means that you might be betraying yourself, and therefore hurting your own heart. So... its really just a focked scenario.

Anyways... I don't know how clear any of this, considering I just picked up an evil case of ONEitis this weekend, for a friend's girl, lol. He was out of town... ended up kicking it, with his bro, his girl, and 2 other chicks. We partyed... and ended up just oozing beauty/love on eachother against what society dictates..."right/wrong." Didn't do sh!t with her, except she gave me a 45min hand massage w. lotion. LMAO... I'm a wh0re for touch, and everyone was rolling.

So my quick advice... if your really not THAT into her... suave on.

Anyways... peace G'
Hope you got at least the awareness of common ground here.
