"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Can't really blame the OP for getting this into his head. Look at all the PUA material which tells you that if you show a moment's weakness, you get blown out. Look at all the posters here who say that being an average male is not enough, you have to be one of the top 10-20% to attract women. The message is that it is not enough to be merely male/masculine; You have to be Alpha Male, Alpha Masculine.

But if you take off the PUA blinders and live in the real world for awhile, then you realize a minor injury is no big deal. Women even supposedly like scars, bruises, and black eyes - things that suggest a man is rugged. Not sure that getting hurt while putting up curtains is going to help though lol.
This is true.

Still, I can't help but think of when a few years ago I had to use a single crutch, then a cane for a while because of an injury. I noticed that men would usually stop their cars to let me walk in front of them in parking lots, streets, etc. and would hold doors for me. It was very rare to see a woman do the same. I couldn't believe the rudeness from women I came across.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Show up limping, make up a funny story on how it happened. She will laugh at your story and then when you tell her the truth, she'll feel bad for you. You will take her into 2 different emotional arena's. chics love feeling emotions. Then after the date she'll think she had such an "emotional" connection with you unlike any guy before!

I use to go to the bars/clubs on crutches! Girls would constantly open me and give me sympathy.

Men are raised to be deferential.
Women are raised to be deferred to.

OP, tell her you were jumped by three crazed drug dealers with guns who wanted your money. You defeated them all and left them laying, but in the process you injured your ankle. ;)

Wednesday I blitz approached a fairly shy hottie at my favourite cafe and got a date out of her in 5 minutes, set it for saturday afternoon. Didn’t bothered to get her number (I usually don’t) since I’m quite sure she won’t flake (IOIs, good BL, reminded me before she left the day and hour, etc).

However, I managed to fvck up my ankle yesterday when I put up a curtain. The chair was weak and it broke.
This came as the cherry on top of my august injury when I ruptured a musle on a paragliding bad landing. That was healing nicely but now I’m set back. Yesterday’s fall left me with a visible limp and this is actually my problem:

If I’m showing up limping, it’s going to be a huge DLV and probably a slight turn off. Let’s just say this won’t work in my favour.
If I don’t, I’ll probably never going to meet her again since I don't have the phone number. I’d hate that because she strikes me as LTR material. I’m not going into details, just trust me on that.

What would you do, mates? Show up with a fvcking limp or just drop it?
Other solutions?
WTF? Dude, go on the date. You have so many potential stories and she will find it incredibly sweet that you still showed up despite your injury. Just act like it's nothing and don't make a big deal out of it.

Imagine if it was the other way around and she showed up with a limp from a broken leg. Would you find it sweet or disgusting? Ask yourself that.
