backbreaker
Master Don Juan
so I went out today... actually with a buddy of mine, just to grab something to eat and watch the football game, nothing serious. So we get in there, and we just so happened to be sitting next to this younger couple( damn I am getting old, I can't believe i just said that) about 20ish both of them.
Now the girl was smokin in all honestly. easily an 8.5 on anyones scale, about a 9 on mine. however, that's not the point. I wasn't out to get a date, I was out to watch football.
I tried to not pay attention, out of respect for the guy, I don't want him to think I was gaulking his girl or anythnig, but the TV was right above their heads. Anyway, I had no choice but to listen to their convo for the most part. I wanted to help this guy out so bad, it was ovbious within 5 mintues they weren't dating and what the deal was with them, at least to me.
This guy, who was not a bad looking guy, which probably got him the chance in the first place, had no chance in hell.
* The girl was on the cell phone about 30 minutes I was there, and i was there for about an hour
* The girl had the most defensive poise I have ever seen, legs crossed, arms crossed, frowning and looking around the bar at other guys... I caught her looking at me and my buddy once. I dont' think she was looking for another date, but that goes tos how just how uninterested she was in who she was with.
* One thing I try to point out to guys is how to carry yourself in public. When you go out, it's details that matter. All my clothes fit, I know about style, I know how to talk to people to the point where it is impressive, but at the same time I am not trying to show off how smart I am. I know what and what not to talk about around certain people. the guy, a white kid, had on shoes that were about 2 sizes too big, a watch he couldn't keep on because it was too big. Worse than that, he had a really small vocab, where every other word that came out of his mouth was **** and ****... I don't curse around women, espically on the first date or first couple of dates.
* When you talk to a woman you like, talk about things that get her emotions going. like... what is the wildest thing you have ever done (I used that last night.. aparantly the girl I ****ed last night stole a car with her EX bF about 15 years ago) and don't talk about yourself.. it's not proper to talk about how your fav sport is seeing how stoned you can get every night.. better yet, how "****in stoned" you can get every night. (**** the girl was no better, the word like came out of her mouth every 5 words)
*all of this was a dealbreaker in most dates, however, my biggest pet peeve for the guy was this... he was being a tightwad.
Now, here is the deal. I am not necessarly an advoicate of paying for dates. However, if I ASK you for a date, I am ASKING for your time, therefore I don't mind paying for anything we do that's my idea, as a matter of fact I wouldn't have it any other way.
I am not saying order the most expensive thing on the menu, but, and I guess this is just me if I didn't have enough money to eat at the resturant and not worry about how much it costs, don't go. The guy kept asking what were the "specials" and was literarly scraing for change at the end of the date... to the point where the girl pulled out some money to cover the rest.
I knew the guy had no shot.. to the point where about 20 mintues into the night, i made a commet about the game on TV.. I played HS basketball with Matt Jones who is a wide out for jacksonville. And I said something that sounded like I could possibly know him, and she blurted out did I know him and I said yea, blah blah blah, and she was talkinga b out how hot he was, blah blah right in front of him.. to the point where I turned aorund so the guy could try to savage his date.
anyway, learn from this guy. put some preperation into a date. Have funds available. I went out with 300 bucks last night and spent 25 dollars, which is what I t hought I might spend, but you never know what we might do on a wihm.. My clothes are always on point.. ALWAYS. I always know what I want to get accomplished on a date. if I want to learn something about someone, if I want to have sex, etc. everyhting I do is with a purpose.. well for the most part.
