My approach rate is not very high at the moment, maybe 3 or 4 approaches on a saturday night and some on a thursday night. With little success. The problem is I still need to get over fear of approaching, so I wanted to speed things up, to gain some momentum. Furthermore I wanted to really practice the 3 second rule, which I seldom use, resulting in stale approaches and thus bad results. Therefore I went out tonight to do Mystery's newbie mission!
For those of you who don't know the newbie mission:
You go out clubbing, alone (!), for 4 hours and approach 12 women with the Elvis script and eject. http://www.fastseduction.com/asf-faq.shtml#q016a
This way you can do 3 approaches an hour. The point is to just practice opening and the 3 second rule. Then you eject.
I got there around 0:00 hours, and the first approach was the worst! It was a 2-set and I walked over. They we're discussing something and stood next to them sort of waiting for them to stop talking. She then looked at me and I did the script. I noticed that it felt kinda lame to do the script then. It should be a spur of the moment thing, your current thought, that Elvis dyed his hair. No big deal however.
By the time I got to the third or four approach, it really became fun!
I tried out some different variants of it and added some of my own wit to it. I'm dutch by the way so I tailored it a bit to the dutch language. Some girls were quite positive. A 2-set said to me that I should be dyeing my hair, ah well
The funny thing was that while doing the Elvis scripts I became more focused on my environment and just started talking to people in general. I could suddenly see all sorts of oppurtunities to have some convo.
Some group of young girls were behind me. And being a very tall guy I noticed they were talking about that fact. So I said to them "I know I'm tall". "You know you have to really work at it". "There is no magic pill or anything that just makes you *pop* (snapped my fingers) tall just like that". "Spinach helps though". Though this is just fluff I did find a way to create something out of it. All the time I get people asking my about my length and stuff and it gets boring but this time it was kind of fun.
Later that evening I was next to a 4-set, two guys, two girl. One of the guys was wearing a t-shirt that said
"Pornography needs me"
Me: "You're a porn star huh, so what's your stage name?"
Dude: "I don't have a stage name"
Me: "So what's your name then?"
bla bla ....
Anyway I was trying to disarm him but I moved to quickly to the girls and said
Me: "Are you girls in these movies too?"
Girls: "Yeah"
Me: "How does it feel to work in that business?"
bla bla ...
I ejected pretty fast because I felt there wasn't any progress but it was cool anyhow
Next time I will need to disarm for a longer time and then move to the girls.
Well that was it. I felt pretty great doing this! Since you're using a script you don't need to think about what to say and stuff. When you want to do the approach your mind isn't racing with all the theory and you can just 3 second rule it.
For the next time I will research some more on dealing with 2-sets without a wingman to back me up. I could create wingmen on the fly though. But it would probably be an AFC wingman standing around. I think that 4+ sets are easier since people you aren't talking to can talk to each other while with a 2-set the other girl will feel neglected and ****block you. Any thoughts on this?
