"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I was not used to cold approaches, but anyway...

She was holding a starbucks coffee, as we get EC.. 2 sec or more.

I get another 4 or 5 EC. Too much indication that she is infact interested.

I grab my balls and go up to her with no canned pickup lines in mind.

It went something like this:

ME: Hi

HB: Hello

ME: I was wondering if I could get to know you..?

HB: So it's like that? You talk as if we are in a bar. LOL

ME: That's just the way I am.

*Shakes hands, she introduces herself*

*I hand my celphone to her*

*She inputs her digits*

we both had to bail, so it was done. Felt awesome really. :)

So onto the phone call.

******2days pass...******

*I call her*

*No answer*

*10 minutes later she calls back*

Here goes the convo:

ME: Hello

HB: Hello, who is this?

ME: Hey it's michael, we met at the mall.

HB: Oh.. It's you.

*She acts all *****y with ***** shield still way up*

HB: So what made you wanna get to know me?

ME: Oh, I do that all the time, you're lucky I even called you really. (In a C & F tone)

HB: *Speechless*

(I figure she thought too highly of herself, so i had to neg her)

ME: So how old are you?

HB: I'm 17..

ME: No way.. Really?

HB: I'm serious..

ME: I'm 20

HB: How old did you think I was?

ME: You look pretty mature for your age, but that's alright.

*I start to realize that the phone call is way too long, and I had to chat with some other girls now*

ME: So anyway, I don't really have too much time to spare. What do you say we go out this friday?

HER: Sounds great.. Just text me. I wanna see you soon.

ME: Aight.. See ya soon.

--------------end of convo---------------

Parts of the convo are missing bec I cannot remember them all. It lasted more or less 15 minutes.

It's funny how a girl can start being *****y, and turn out to be so sweet. lol.

Imagine, she was all ***** shielded up, and when It came to it, and in the end, she didn't even wanna put the phone down.

Eveything is a test, I realize. Or most of it. Most of it she doesnt even know she's testing you.

It's in nature... Oh well. I love this game. Tomorow im still sargin. :woo:

Anyway, just wanted to share my experience. Feedback would be nice. :)

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Arhh.. I remember the first time I got a number cold approaching. I remember more so, my first CA. Even though I got rejected, it was the best feeling of accomplishment ever. EVER!

The HUGE fuss I built up over chicks slowly began to crack. I realised it was easier than I thought.

These days it's just fun to meet all these different chicks I didn't know. I'm confident in my game and my sarging abilities, at night. Heh, I don't feel as confident without a wing and/or if it's day, just because I'm not as used to sarging in that certain environment. But you'ld get used to cold approaches sooner or later. It comes with field experience.

She told him she diddn't have time for a relationship and that they should stay friends that had a chance to grow into lovers. He told her, "If I can't have you romantically, I can't have you at all." The man after a few nights his stomach felt like it was churning cement, His emotions grew too heavy and he cracked. "Hello? Can you ever forgive a fool like me?" he asked ."No, you have missed your chance!" "Hmm well I'll think about it" she replied. He later sees her around the city, she sees him and starts flirting with other guys sayin how she needs a man in her life. She walks past him "Im too self absorbed right now, you'll miss me when Im gone." It hit the man hard, just a few days a ago she told him she diddn't have time...she lied and now shes makin it known. The man was still a fool, Please give me one more chance he pleaded... "Well alright", she replied. The man was happy he had a hope left in his heart, hed call she seemed distant. She even went as far as to block the man on Aim. He confronted her I thought we were alright. "Oh I have problems in my life and things I cannot think about." The man thought, I got it, I will reply " I will give you space, and reply when you are ready". It then came to the man what did he do wrong? Why was she being so cruel. He tried his hardest and she diddn't seem like she cared, she probaly diddnt. He then deleted her myspace from his. She messaged him, how childish. He then replyed like blocking. He finally had the guts to face reality, Lets just move on with our lives goodbye and blocked her. She never had the intent of forgiving him at all. He knew and lost all hope, he had the power to rip out the chunk of heart she had left.

Well this basically happened to me, I learned alot of lessons from this. One-itis is a disease that clouds your instincts. That women are sweet but they can be just as cruel, I really never thought that women had it in them to do this. She lied about the relationship, and about forgivness and to smit the man with her messages. Well Im pissed and ready to become a greater man. I just wanted to share these two cents with you all.

whats this gotta do with my post?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Great great stuff man.

Although, I would have done one thing differently.

When she agreed to hanging out on Friday, and she said to text... why did you accept? I would have set the date then and there.

You know, you are right.

But what had happened was:

ME: So anyway, I don't really have too much time to spare. What do you say we go out this friday?

HER: Sounds great.. Just text me. I wanna see you soon.

----------------------end of convo-----------

I didn't wanna seem desperate. So I didn't wanna stress her out and just let loose.

Because, I felt as if.. If I forced her or made her go to the date friday that would seem that I was too much into her. Maybe.

Maybe I'm wrong. How would you have gone about the convo? :)
