"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Well first off, I threw a party tonight, by accident if that is possible. I had my little cousin over, who invited his friends, who ivited friends, than I started inviting friends over, by the time I looked up there was 50-60 people in my house.

First off, you wouldn't believe this if I put this on my little sister, but here goes.

anyone remember that stripper story I told you last week, when I tipped her about 4-500 dollars and didn't get anything in return?

Well, she knew a friend of a friend of my cousins, and showed up at my house for the house party.

God I got to get out of Arkansas, too damn small.

Talk about akward. Because none of her friends knows she is a stripper, at least that's what she told me.

She came up to me and had the nerve to ask me why was I stalking her... I almost kicked the ***** out my house, however if I would have done that, then her friends would have eventually figured out WhY i kicked her out the ho use, and it wasn't that big of a deal.

Anyway, about halfway though the night, this girl walks though my door. L Iterarly, the baddest girl I have seen since my old oneitis. I mean, the girls I usually date are pretty cute, good looking but I have only looked at two people in my life and said "I have to have HER", my old oneitis (which I never dated) and this girl.

So the second i see her, she sees me, and it's like, and doubt or nerve I would have had just went out of the window, becuase I was thinking to myself "there is no way I am NOT getting her number at the very least"

She's about 5'6, 5'7, salt and pepper wavy hair, the prettiest feet I have ever seen, and a babish face with a really good tan (she's white by the way).

Guys were literarly falling over themselves to talk to her. I'm suprised i have never seen her before.

So we lock eyes and play the cat and mouse game.. I caught her checking me out the 2nd time so I knew it was on then, so I said **** this, and when up to her, took her outside to my patio and we chatted for literarly an hour.

By the time we were done, we were dating.

I still can't believe I am actually dating someone, but It just felt right.. I mean, I can probably count on my fingers the girls in this city that might look better.

However, and this is what suprised me, she is the coolest, most down to earth girl I have ever met.. at least one that is that good looking.

I dont' give anyone a HB10, but she is a legit 8-9.5 depending on your taste.

It's actually pretty good timing, because my old oneitis just so happened to email me, looking for attention a couple of days ago... and even though i was seeing other girls and have in all realtiy moved on from that posiblity, the temptation to bend that long leggy ass over the couch is still there.

Out of the blue, and she does this EVERYTIME we start talking again, she emails me pics of her, like she is reminding me how good looking she is.. only this time she did something with her hair or something.... and although she isn't ugly, I'm not that attracted to her any longer

Actually, here she is right here:

http://ualr.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2002025&l=c8601&id=120501027

anyway, all in all a great night. My new GF is coming over tomorrow at 10 and she is going to go to the horse track with me to watch me do my magic :) and I will think of a creative first date between now and after that.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

damn I just noticed this, but on the pics of my old oneitis, in the picture with the two alaskian huskies, the one on the right is actually my dog (Rico, i let her babysit him about a year ago becuase he woudln't stop ****ting in my house than, and she already had the one on the left, and they love him, and I am happy without him), and the outfit she is wearing in the picture is one I bought for her when I was 18 years old

What do you do for a living?

That ho is some crazy ****. (The ho, not your exgf).

What's the cat and mouse game?

So she's your gf now? And about her being down to earth etc. It's been said before, but I'll say it again. UGs, you'd guess they're great to date or whatever, but in my experience, they are bitter, insecure, etc etc. Whereas HBs tend to be the ones one can feel truly connected to.

Damn those immortal UGs! :box:

Thoose are unactracttive pictures.. if she sent them to me without me ever seeing her, I wouldn't think about talking to her.

Here is an older picture of her,

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/ur_hacked03/detail?.dir=8c12&.dnm=c73f.jpg&.src=ph

looks like she is starting to age, when she first sent me the picture, I actually thought it was her mom, she's younger than me.

1. I am a professional handiapper... in lamien terms, I play the ponies for a living

2... no you were right.. my ex and the ***** are both crazy.

3. by cat and mouse game, i mean catching glances at each other.

yeah, she's my GF. We kinda agreed to it. someone there told her I was a player and I was explaining to her that i just haven't found anyone I liked... we just agreed to it.

She came over today, went with me today, had a great time. It was hard to not spend the entire day with her, but i had to let her go home, as I do have a life and have other things to do.

Also, I am going to met up with the stripper I am seeing and tell her it's off.. this should be fun

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

1. as far as horse racing, I do well for myself. Well enough to were I do it full time and I couldn't dream of having a better job. There isn't anything that I really want that I don't have, including savings

2. As far as Rico (the dog) he's extremely pretty, I actually got him to get compliments from women. He was my running mate as a puppy. I used to take him everywhere possible.. and it worked from time to time. His bred doesn't bark, which can be cool, execpt he howls and he won't shut the **** up. And they are extremely smart, espically for a dog. To piss me off, he would get directly under my bed, where he knew I couldn't reach him, and howl all ****ing night.

they aren't that expensive, I think I paid $250 for him, but I have seen them as low as $125 in the paper. He doesn't eat too much, well from what i was told now he does, but as a puppy and growing up he didn't, and even though Windsor (Kat's dog, the bigger one) is about 110-120 pounds, they don't bite. They will snear at you to death,b ut you would have to be physcially dangering them seriously to provoke them to bite. I used to have my 5 year old sister over my house with him all the time and he would play with her just like a big puppy.

Well, and I didn't even mention this yesterday, but Jessica (my new GF) didn't even kiss last night, things moves do fast.

I took care of that today, plus a little more ;)

It's little things she does that makes me like her so much. Like yesterday, I told her what I did, and she asked me all the normal questions.. And today when she came over my house, she had went to the only store in town that sales horse racing sportwear, I didn't even know there was one, and bought a teeshirt and a ballcap to wear with my favorate horse's name on it. I thought that was pretty cool.

I found out a little more about her. Suprisingly, she doesn't have much baggage as I expected.. Turns out she was a pretty late bloomer, so unlike most HB's, she wasn't labled a goddess by other guys her entire life.

She has 1 Guy friend that is in LJBF zone, however I am not worried about him, because I have been on the other side of that zone, and i Know enough to know that he has no chance in hell iwth me in the picture. hell he didn't have much with me OUT of the picture.
She told me she told him she had a new BF and he started crying on the phone, asking her how could she do that to him, and then later apologized saying he didn't mean it and he still wants to be friends, etc.. sounds pretty familiar.

Today was my youngest brothers birthday, he's 5, and he called me, in his cutist voice and asked me to come to his BDaY party.. I had forgot today was his birthday, and they live out of town, about 20 mintues away.

However, it was right on the way home from the track, and I had Jess with me, and I wasn't going to stop back in little rock, and go back, so I took her with me.

She liked my family, espically my stepmom, who's actually 29, and my dad couldn't stop looking at her.

After that we grabbed some Chinese, Rented 2 movies, and ended up going at it 15 mintues into the first one. she wanted to spend the night, but I wouldn't let her... moving to fast :D

The real reason I woudn't let her was because I had a date with the stripper I used to mess around with, to let her know that I wasn't going to be messing around with her anymore becuase I have a GF.

Let's just say... she didn't take it too kindly. That's what I am really just now getting back from.

One more thing, which goes back to the horse racing thing... I used to run a company, had stock for my own company, which was private but nevertheless, and had and still have some public stock.

I can honeslty say I feel more comfortable betting on horses than I do trading stocks.

The reason is, in horse racing, there is no hidden agenda. If there is, it is easily seen by any trained eye (a horse using this race for a workout, etc) but never does a horse just purposly plump a race for no reaosn. Even when he not trying to win, he isn't trying to lose.

That can't be said for public companies. You don't know what goes on behind closed doors at compaines (Trust me). I know some of the **** we did, I could only imagine.

I own some stock, but mostly stock that has been proven and pays high dividends, I'm not trying to get rich off of it.

If there was 25% of the information avaliable for horse racing as there was for the stock market, there would be alot more millionares in this country. Even though it's not the easiest thing on earth, it's predictable to people who know what they are looking for, at least to the extent where a constant profit can be made.

I wont' go into toomuch detail.. it took me about 6 years to get on the level I am now. But I will say this; every horse in every race has a story. If you can figure out what that story is, odds are you can make a hell of alot of money. If you can get inside the horse trainers mind and feel what he is thinking to some extent, you will make money when others think it's impossible.

I had a race Friday when a horse was running in stakes class for the first time, was going off at 17 to 1 (35 dollars, give or take).. But he won his only 2 races in his life, not by much but he won them, was shipped half way across the country, plus the jockey on the horse was a jockey that was shipped all the way from NY, and he was a leading jockey at his track.

I figured, that jockey wouldn't come half way across the country if he didn't think he had a legit chance of winning this race... plus there were 2 speedballs in the race, but none just jumped out to me as a horse I couldn't bet against, so Played the longshot to win with the 3 favorates behind him in a Exacta Wheel and a Tri Wheel and both came in, horse won in a photo finish.

I very, very rarely look at speed figures, to me they are pointless. everyone else uses them, so if you base your bets off them youw ill make no money, plus what a horse did a month out doesn't mean you will get that exact same effort today. the only thing I really look at in a DRF is the workouts, they are pretty important to me.

Oh, and no matter how perfect a horse looked in the past, if you see him in the post parade and he doesn't look ready to race, you can throw him out the window. If you see him and he is exerting too much engery and looks nervous, 9 times out of 10 he is nervous or something is wrong.

My old oneitis is emailing me, wondering why I haven't responded to her emails with the pictures in it

Did you grow up with horses, or did you pick up your 'horse sense' as you studied betting? Is fading the crowd as important as studying the horse?

When the stock market was going straight up, there was a lot of "dumb money" in the market. That made it easier to make money. Are there a lot of foolish, compulsive people who bet on horses, more so than sporting events? The easiest money in speculation, aside from owning the 'house,' is to bet against the dumbest people you can find.

My dad took me to the horse track when I was 6. I was hooked then. I could read a Past Performance chart when I was 8. However I never took it real seriously until when I was say, 19, and i went back to the track and realized how much I love it and realized that this is what I wanted to do.

My ego got in my way at first, I thought I was better than I was. I wasn't bad, but I had alot of learning to do.

The toteboard (crowd) plays a pretty important role in bets. As a matter of fact, while other people are usually trying to find horses to bet on in between races, something i have done the day or days before, I am just sitting in front of the tote board looking at the action.

If say.. a first timer is coming out, and had odds at say, 5 to 1 and they quickly jump to say, 2-1, there is some inside info somewhere telling me that this horse is ready to go.

Whereas if the horse slowly creeps up to high odds, that means the public can't find a better horse and are settling for him. Big difference.

For the tote, the most important action is the early action, like the first 5-6 minutes, because that's when the owners, trainers, etc make their wagers, and in huge amounts.

A horse you think is horrible and has no shot need s aclose second look if he has a quick spike like that.

I love to go to the track on weekends, alot of dumb money.. people playing birthdays, etc. Plus the pools are just bigger. The week is a l ittle harder to make money, becuase if you go to the track on say, a wednesday afternoon in the workweek, odds are most people there are seasoned veterans.. but there is still money to be made.

I will say one thing.. betting on Maidens is like stealing candy from a baby sometimes.. becuase most people, even people who have been around don't know how to read workotus, and more importantly, don't know the differecne between a Madien Claimer and a Maiden Special Weight. They will bet a horse that came in say, 4th or 5th in a Maiden Special Weight race paying 30k around 10-12 to one, only he is dropping to say a 30k Maiden Claimer race, which is a huge drop in class, even though the price is the same.

I have no idea what all this means. When do you get to see the workouts? So far i learned that you have to look for a horse that is exercising a lot to say it isnt a good pick. correct? In my casino horses do a walk around a circle before the race, is that the workout?

Past performance charts? Where do i get those? More details please, i only know what they give me on that little card with the favorites.

Okay.. as simple as possible.

There are basically 4 levels of races.

Maidens

Claimers

Allowences

Stakes

a maiden is a horse that hasn't EVER won a race. Usually horses that haven't raced or are extremely new.

The lowest end of the maiden races are Maiden claimers, or horses that they are putting up for sale.

If a race is say.. Maiden Claiming Race, Purse 18k, Claiming Price 30k, that means that although the purse of the race is 18k, all of the horses in this race are for sale for 30k.

You don't sale horses that you want to keep.

You will never see a future Kentucy Derby winner in a claiming race

The only Maiden Claiming horses I know, and i Know horses, that are pretty successful are Sis City and Lava Man.

Maiden Special Weight is the opposite of Maiden Claiming races.. You don't want to sale these horses.

These are my favorate races, besides stakes, to watch, becuse you are always on the lookout for a future star, espically around October-January. Espically in FLA, CA or NY and the purse upwards of 30k.

Say a triainer is training a horse, thinks he can win in Maiden Special Weight class and enters him in.. doesn't do so good. Decides the horse is still good, but not as good as he originally thought, so his next race is for the same price, execpt it's in the Maiden Claiming class.

The average joe will look at this, and see he lost the last race by say, I don't know, 8 lenghts, and he is running for the same amount of money and pass.

You can usually tell these, because the morning odds are usually lower than the final odds at the track.

I can talk horses all day long :)

BTW, real serious Grade 1 Stakes horses, or eventual G1 Stakes horses, usually not only win break their maiden on the first crack, they usualy do it in stylish fashion. Ghostzapper toyed with a good field of Maidens his first race out. Afleet Alex won by 15 lengths. I remember Bellamy road won his 2nd race, which was a huge bump up to an Allowance race for horses that haven't won 3 races, which was 2 classes higher than he was supposed to be in, but ended up winning by close to 20 lengths, no challege whatsoever.

I don't actually SEE the workouts.. god no, I'm not getting up at 4 in the morning to go to the track everyday to watch workouts.

They are printed in the Daily Racing Form.

As a matter of fact, you can do a free search for them under the entries section at drf.com

Your Avg workout is 12 seconds per Furlong. Anything better is great.. anything well below that deserves caution, uless he he/she has a history of slow workouts.

I never bet a horse that hasn't worked out or raced in 3 weeks, and I honestly perfer a workout within a week of a race.. I don't care how good he/she is, becuse you never know what you are going to get. And i've lost some money because of it, but I have saved a hell of alot more.

if a horse is exercising alot, and they are slow, that's just as bad as a horse not exercising. That means something is probably physically wrong with the horse, that or the trainer doesn't know what he is doing and is overworking the horse when he needs to rest.

The walk around the track is called the post parade.. which is actually just as important to me as the workouts.

If a hrose looks good on paper, and you look in the post parade and see he is nervous, or doesn't want to go in the gate (is a tale tale sign that the trainer isn't trying to win the race, usually happens with maidens), you can throw him out.

The only execption to that are horses sired by, and I know I can't spell this, but Fuchiachi Pegegsis, becuase all of them, at least most, are hot tempered. Empire Maker, Roman Ruler at times, although outstanding horses, they were complete jerks in the gate, one of them even kicked a guy before a race for no reason.

Perfect example. I got to the track late on Friday, I missed the first race.. which was okay, becuase I wasn't going to bet anyway.

So it's 10 mintues until post, more like 8 when we get there. I have missed the post parade and the TV is showing something else, so I don't have time to look, I just make my bet, because I knew who I liked.

So we go outside and I show him my horse and as soon as I said he was the horse I liked, he broke away from the pony he was with and held up everything. That, and he was pertty damn small to be a 3 year old and was sweating pretty bad for a 60 degree day.

I turned to my friend and told him "I lost"

Not only did he LOSE, he came in DEAD LAST.. and it wasn't even close. He wasn't a favorate, more like 6 to 1, but he was the best horse in the field.. at least to me

PP Charts, DRF.com. I can email you a ****load of some if anyone want some, I have about a years worth on m PC.

I used to laugh at people who would by thoose tip sheets.. but I have started buying them.. not because I need them, but I like to see what one guy in partiuclar at my track likes to say about the horses.. he's heads and sholders better than the others and is usually pretty damn right in his analysis. He saved me some money by pointint out something I didn't see in one race.

I mean, I would never make my bet because of something like that, but I don't mind having a second opinion.

The key isn't so much picking the winners, or the contenders.. in a 8 horse field, there might be 3 with a legit chance of winning.

The key is making the most financially fiasiable wager to maximize your money. That's why I am usually starring at the toteboard, looking at willpays, over/underlays. I know what horses I like already, I am just trying to figure out how to bet them.

If a horse is so much of a longshot that i Like I don't even **** around with exotics.

When Jess and I were coming back from the track, she was like "I see why you are always so damn happy, I would be happy to if I could do what you do for a living". And it's fun. I used to get stressed out when I lost, but I learned not to, because I know I am not making bad bets, and if I am not making bad bets, eventually things will go my way.

Also.. there are usually some hotties at the track on weekends to. The regular crowd, you know, the guys there every weekend are pretty funny as well, espically the ones who never win, because it's never their fault for making a bad bet.

I have seen some wild and funny **** at the track

One guy, while in the post parade, threated to kill Calvin Borel if he didn't win.

I've seen a woman win about 1500 dollars, get happy and start jumping up and down, only to have the ticket fly away.. funny ****.

the only thing I don't like is there are no automated machines down here, so you have to go to a teller.. and I don't like keeping that much cash on me, but it's a pretty secure place.

Also, live racing is only from Jan to April, after that it's stricly simiculast, which is why I am seriously considering moving to either FL or CA where there are at least 2 tracks open year round

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

dude...or dudes...

my old oneitis just called me... 5 times, I didn't pick up because my GF was here, and I eventually told her it was an old friend of mine, and she didn't mind me talking to her.

So I pick up the phone, and guess what she told me?

That she misses me? (not that I would want her to say that)

That she was calling to say hi?

No.. that would be too damn normal.

Rico is dead. My damn dog is dead. She let him run away last night and she found him on the side of the road earlier today.

I thought she was joking, because he's too smart to run away, I have left him out in my front yard with no leash and he will just sit there, even with people walking by. But she wasn't..I could tell she was even crying earlier.

Way to **** up a great weekend.. about the only thing she is good for

naw, he's a goner. She emailed me like 6 times yeserday, one of them was a forwared email from her mom telling the cause of death. They took him to the pet hospital and everything. They really cared about him, I'm not faulting them for that, but damn... i'm actually taking it pretty damn hard.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
