Oh well, the beeyath has a bf.
I knew this chick from the other gym I was at. Chit chatted a bit with her, never asked her out. I saw her with her bf there, then saw her like 5 months ago.
No one went and talked to this hb. She's well, very hot. The kind that has like 20 shrines put to her by some nice guys. Anyways, I liked her, smiley, polite, fun as far as I could tell.
So, I saw this hb on, Tuesday. She seemed familiar, didn't give it much thought. I then was going out, saw her heating up in the recumbent bycicle, and go and ask her if by any chance she used to the other gym. She said yes, she did, and said she knew me. It took me a second but then I recognized her too. She said she knew me when she got in, but didn't say hi. She must have a 3rd and 4th eye, because I was staring at her in a cloakable way all the time and I didn't notice that she saw me. Chit chatted a bit, and I split.
Fast forward to today.
I'm doing my thing, talking to this guy, she goes in, we say hi to each other. Then she goes to this machine to heat up, but it doesn't work, my buddy at the same time left the recumbent next to me, so she went next to me. I told her to place her hand. So I tapped it lightly.. like a grandma does to the kids when they misbehave, I do it twice, and I tell her one is for not saying hi when she saw me, and the other one was for staring at my body when I turned around last time. Haha. She got all blushed, smiled, nervous, started stroking her hair and saying "no I don't do that" and I kept at it a bit. She gave signs of interest. Definite ones. She did that not as in "what a loser" but "oh no one has ever done this? Why am I so nervous!?" Chit chat a bit, you know, fluff about what she studies, what she wants to do. She takes classes on the morning, takes a break, and returns to more classes at noon. So I bust on her a bit for being anti social and not having friends.
I'm doing my thing. And turn around, and she's staring. Again and again. I go and bust on her about just laying there resting. In retrospective I should have busted on her for staring at me, didn't cross my mind at the time.
So, I finish, she's not around, so I go to cool off a bit to the recumbent. She suddenly appears, I finish cooling off. And go up to her, she's doing this excercise so I rest against the machine while she finishes. She finishes, and turns all exited towards me to see what I'll tell her. (I was like, WTF? caught me off guard haha). So I tell her, that I want to book her for lunch on Monday. She laughs and says, "what do you mean by booking haha" I say, well, you know, I invite you to lunch. She blushes, smiles, and gives the yes/no.... The yes/no face is when they move their head in a circular way. they don't say yes, they don't say no, they move it in a circle.
She goes "... no"... I go "really?" *as in.. "is that so?"*.."I have a boyfriend, and he'd be mad" I don't remember if she said "at me" or not.
This is what I see:
1) She's not THAT interested.
2) She is, never the less, interested.
3) I'm not used to the boyfriend line, and just rub it off as I usualy do when they do use it.
How would you have played that?
In the moment I thought about saying "I'm just asking you to lunch, not on a date". But I didn't feel it. I don't think a line, whatever it was, wouldn't have worked. I don't feel it would.
My plan of action is to keep my charm, ignore her a bit, the way I feel it should be done. Show her that these eggs are better, and when she realizes that she'll come to the superior eggs (See Pooks analogy on this).
Dunno why I'm posting this anyhow, I seem to have it all figured out. Better said, I have it figured out. I'm making time to go to sleep, I don't have to work tomorrow so I can sleep late...
Although comments are very welcome
Edit- The plan of action is to show her the eggs. If she doesn't appreciate it, boo hoo. Next. It's not as if I'm going to get mad at her or sad, or whatever.
Edit2- omg, I haven't talked to any male friends in a long time now. No wonder.
