"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

So, I went out with some roommates. Stopped at one club, it was alright, so I bounced over to some dance party. It was a lot better than the first club, so I figure I'll turn my mack game on.

They've been playing about 1000 rap songs in a row, so when they play a Sean Paul song, I go up to this 2-set (HB 7 and 8.5, respectively) and put my arm around both their shoulders to say, "This is as close to decent music we're having tonight, so let's go." From here, I start dancing with both of them, but I want to isolate 8.5, so one of my roommates wings for me. Then, out of nowhere, while I'm grinding with the 8.5, another roommate just runs up and starts sandwiching her. I don't want to tell him off, because that's not me and it'll be a douchebag thing to do in the first place, so I just try to lead her away. A couple of other people that I know very well and trust with my life start ****blocking as well, trying to steal her away/dance/etc. None of it works, but it becomes awkward when I'm dancing with someone and there's 3-4 other guys just surrounding us.

So, I figure this isn't going to work too well, I'm not even going to bother to escalate with all this BS going on. So I figure I'll have my fun tonight, #close, and see her some other time. Even to walk her and her friends back, my roommates decide to tag along, and I'm like "wtf". I can't really object though, because I came with them, but it's a little annoying that they're pretty much following me the whole time.

Even worse, I feel so awkward that when it's time to part ways, I don't get the #. I tried to justify it by thinking to myself that the girls live sufficiently close so I'll see them in the future, but it was just me chickening out under the awkward circumstances.

What can I even do in that situation? I don't want to be a douche, but my close friends have been ruining my game by being at the wrong place at the wrong time these days.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
