"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Well I challenged myself to approach at least one girl at this track meet, and it was much harder to do than I thought it would be. Walked around for hours seeing girls I wanted to approach but making excuses. I finally approached this one girl. Here's a summary of how it went:
- She's walking and I go up to her and say "Hey, how's it going?".
- We talk about track, what events we run.
- Somewhere along the line I actually get the chick to stop walking.
- Ask her if she's seen any movies lately, she's say no, I start talking about Spider Man 3. "I saw this one movie called Spider Man 3, oh I would really suggest you don't waste your money on it. I mean, it's basically like a chick flick with Spider Man, way too much romantic stuff. Like Mary Jane breaks up with Peter, Mary Jane kisses Harry, way too much relationship based stuff in there". It went something like that.
- Before I asked her what school we went to, there was sort of a long silence.
- Ask her what school she's go's to, she's like "[Schoolname]" I'm like "[Schoolname], I've never heard of that. It must be really far away." "Yeah, it's about an hour from here" and I say something like "Oh, I go to [Schoolname], we have something called the Jubilee which is like a carnival. There's rides, music, food, yeah it's pretty cool. I remember this one ride, I don't remember what it's called, but it would go left to right and no matter how hard you tried to pull off you just couldn't do it.". While I'm talking she's saying stuff like "That's cool" inbetween.
- After that I say "Hey, I never got your name did I?" or something like that. She's like "Oh, I'm Alex", I'm like "I'm Mike, handshake?" then she takes her hands out of her pocket and shakes my hand and we part.
Twas an okay approach, girl seemed to be listening to my stories, and seemed to be somewhat interested in me. If she was interested or thought I was boring, she would've just left.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

at some point, I'm going to bring a tape recorder to a party and post the transcript of it up here.

Don't talk about THINGS. TALK ABOUT FEELINGS, ASK HER HOW SHE FEELS ABOUT <insert anything, anybody, anywhere>

YOU DON'T WANT IT TO SOUND LIKE AN INTERVIEW! If you play to her emotions(questions about feelings, senses, whatever) then you BUILD a relationship on an EMOTIONAL level, not a logical one.

Seriously, cut the interview and have some fun with the convo.

Show some interest in HER, not fvcking spiderman! you never even bothered to ASK HER what SHE thought of spiderman.

I'm trying to tell you conceptual stuff here man. Talk to/interrogate her emotionally, not logically.

------

Example:
Scenario 1 - Logic
You: "Have you seen any movies lately?"
Her: "No"
You: "I saw this one movie called Spider Man 3, oh I would really suggest you don't waste your money on it. I mean, it's basically like a chick flick with Spider Man, way too much romantic stuff. Like Mary Jane breaks up with Peter, Mary Jane kisses Harry, way too much relationship based stuff in there."

Scenario 2 - Emotion
You: "Have you seen any movies lately?"
Her: "No"
You: "Why not?"

----------

See the difference? In scenario 1, those precious seconds of your life were spent..no, wasted.. talking about Spiderman. Be interested/concerned with her. When she says something, don't list off your own experience, ask her about her own. SHOW SOME INTEREST IN HER LIFE, NOT YOURS!

good luck

Well according to this guy who goes here and gives me advice on AIM you're actually suppose to be talking 90% of the time and that was what I was doing.

Keep taking advice from this guy man, gimme a pm when you get laid, if ever.

I don't quite understand why you're defending a position that hasn't worked for you...

-------

Dude, you ARE supposed to be talking 60%ish of the time, but NOT about random **** like "spider man". Ask her opinion on stuff, take it to an emotional level right away. Don't treat her like a robot, and most of all, don't try to MAKE her laugh...

When you go off on a rant[that you believe will be funny], chicks don't get as "in" to your story as you will... They yawn internally, and ask themselves "when will this guy stfu?"

Keep it light, ask her light questions..eg.

Approach:

You: [walking up to girl(s)] "Hey ladies...I have a serious problem... My friend Stacy [make it a girls name, instant social proof] was telling me that Blondes have more fun...Is this true?"

Have fun with approaches, learn to enjoy the adrenaline rush.

-------

**** like that really gets them going... See how that is different from: "sooo....what event do you run?"

--------

Honestly man, your best friends are Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How.

Different things work for different people so longs you get the end result. The way I was taught was. PLOW, PLOW, and PLOW at the start.

The reason you do 90/10 rule is because a girl your approaching on the street doesn't know you so why would she try and talk back? The whole point of plowing is conveying your personality. A woman is only looking at your personality and then decides when she sees enough.

But like I said there are many ways to go about things. Because either way you have to be talking on a emotional level. An plowing is the way I've learnt. Your basically conveying your personality real fast an kinoing from the start.

If you can plow then the openers don't even matter.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

El , its right that at the begining you have to talk , almost 90% of the time , but thats in the begining; but remember its important what you say. Blueyes is right , you got to talk on emotional level. Chicks dont understand logic.
This pickup is called interview style , its often what most of us , myself included do.

With experience , you'll ralise it occourance , and you'll learn to stop it too.

Plus talk abou her , her life , her experiences. People LOVE talking about themselves
