Found out smoking ruined my game

I am a casual smoker. I smoke at parties and socially. Last night I was DJ'ing my old high school's dance with a couple of other DJ's I work with. Well one of them is a chain smoker and really needed a cigarette so we rode across the street to get some food and have a smoke break. I got back and saw lots of girls I know and went to talk to them and dance a bit. My ex one of the girls I talked to and who still likes me was really stand offish. I said NEXT and moved on.

Well the next girl I talked to ran up hugged and kissed me and asked why I smelled like Smoke. I told her my friend had been smoking around me. First time a girls ever said something about cigarette smoke on me.

I just received a message from my ex/that first girl asking why I smelled like smoke and being told thats the reason she didn't hug or dance with me last night.

Just some interesting experiences on the "does smoking have a negative effect on gaming girls" issue

Well, it can't possibly give you a POSITIVE effect on your game. Unless you're chasing the kind of skanks that still think smoking is cool. >_>

Hint: The smell of smoke isn't attractive, and no one wants that smoky flavor in their kisses either. Just a bit of advice.

I'm not trying to condone smoking here though I think people have a right to choose. I've worked with a local, state, and national organizations to work on banning smoking in public buildings. I have to admit though smoking can create a bond between two people. Gives you something in common. I've met many new friends through conversations that started about smoking.

I have had smoking increase attraction before but through special circumstances. Such as after having sex then smoking with the girl.... I know its cliche but I even had a girl that never smoked before smoke once after sex. I HATE the smell of cigarette smoke and stick to original things like Clove cigarettes which taste and smell nothing like your traditional cigarette (I have found these spark curiosity and conversation with girls and guys) Also the Al Capone cigarillos which are dipped in Cognac. As for the traditional cigs I smoke Robust camels when im drinking and these have a nice smoke as well.

Marlboro, Kool, Newports etc. have a very smoky smell and It was one of these that I had bummed off my friend that night and had the negative effects.

Girls only don't like smoke if they don't smoke themselves. Smokers don't care that you smell like smoke, because they do too.

It helps sometimes and it hurts sometimes, I've had both situations occur. Don't worry too much about it, just do what you like, if other people don't like it then well too bad for them.
