"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

The article is paywalled, but I've inserted a short excerpt below

"In an essay published by Allure magazine last year, Ms. Kryst reflected on the challenges of growing older and challenging conventional thinking about women’s appearances and opinions. “A grinning, crinkly-eyed glance at my achievements thus far makes me giddy about laying the groundwork for more, but turning 30 feels like a cold reminder that I’m running out of time to matter in society’s eyes — and it’s infuriating,” she wrote. “After a year like 2020, you would think we’d learned that growing old is a treasure and maturity is a gift not everyone gets to enjoy.” "
It is believed that she died by suicide by falling from a high rise building in her Manhattan apartment.

What a way to go, was the pressure too much for her?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

You never know who is going to pop themselves. They can appear to be fine, happy, and suddenly they're found dead. This happens all the time.

Sad, that she choose to die rather than accepts the burden of epiphany phase.

Do you mean because she was a black? She was major-league accomplished and gorgeous. Who gets blamed for that?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

There's something sad about having your obituary behind a paywall.

I feel more sorry for the 50 year old incels. She had plenty of chances to find Mr. Good enough, but she kept saying "hit me" until she felt like she busted.
I don't think it's entirely her fault, that's just women's nature. If she were born 50 or so years ago, she would have settled for some moderately successful chump. The internet has screwed up her perception of reality, the same way it hooks teenage boys to pornography. Women aren't really capable of seeing the effects of social media like guys do with pornography. We know it isn't real, and it isn't healthy. They don't. They ride the wave until they crash upon the stony shore. Their Paleolithic brains have never experienced such abundance, they aren't capable of choosing. It's like processed sugar, or chemical narcotics.

It takes some conojes to drop to your death. I bet the fall down gives you a high not unlike cocaine or some other similar drug before the splatter.

The detective in me also says it could have been a murder. Who knows.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

How do you know it was the internet the screwed her perception of reality? She could have been:

- depressed
- never had a boyfriend
- never got famous
- never got into Harvard
- never been able to get pregnant
- never passed the math test

Not every girl rides the wave on the internet.

First thing I thought also. Jumping from 60 stories up. And the aftermath below? Hard to fathom her doing that

Prob. drugs and reading too much on Insta, Fakebook and Twitter. People often forget the life they portray online is not necessarily their real life behind the scenes. What a waste.. Hot and smart.. geez. If she could also cook and clean she'd be a home run.

I wish I could understand but an average joe like would never be able to. Someone who is 30, who has more than I do, and could have everything chose a permanent solution.

I grew up in a time where all my 16 year old classmates were hooking up with guys on tinder, or were addicted to instagram.

Need to setup a purpose for yourself in life. A person cannot seek another person out to provide happiness and purpose. The only person who can do that is the dude in the mirror.

Sad story. Gorgeous woman. I have a family member involved in those pageants. She’s beautiful, accomplished, and…. Perpetually single.

Someone has to guide these modern women away from thinking they can have it all.
