im not saying that ppl who have been abused in this manner arent good people, it's my conjecture that having a coerced intimate relationship at such a young age completely fubar'ed their chances of having healthy adult relations/relationship unless there is some heavy therapy undertaken (and even then im like 'neh')

I hear that. I found out two of my good friends were molested, only after they passed away. One died in high school and his mom told me once that he'd been touched by some dude working at a day care. Another died more recently. A mutual friend told me he'd confessed it once when drunk years ago. In both cases we were close friends and they never said boo about it to me. Guys joke about this shyt all the time with each other. Who knows how many Michael Jackson jokes I've cracked in front of them or anyone. The stigma is altogether different for boys and even in 2019 they are not encouraged to "come forward" like females are, not to the same degree anyway. (In spite of that "say no/then go/ and tell" PSA with Emmanuel Lewis from when I was a kid...)
