Does anyone see reality in this movie?

When this guy was dumped, he pulled chicks of that caliber pretty easily. Is that what California is like?? Because chicks that look like that either take a master of seduction or some serious rapport... or at least a better looking guy. Or they drink like champs and hook up with any guy they meet.

Either way--I would kind of want to gag her too :crackup:

Its a fun movie. Mila Kunis is hot!!! In other AFC movies they would have showed the main character going back to his first gf at the end. But in this one he doesn't so that's a good change.

I think the Judd Apatow is really talented. All his movies so far, while exaggerating a bit for comedic effect, are more realistic.

This one for example, doesn't follow the typical Hollywood story where he gets back with Sarah and they live happily ever after.

As to your original question, I've only briefly visited California so I don't know, but it's a combination of them being drunk and it being a movie.

yea I saw it opening night and posted about how it was worth seeing but some guys here think it's a chick flick, which is totally not true. It's a lot like Swingers in a way

a lot of cool relationship dynamics that are true to life, especially how the girl trips out at the end. also look at how the Russell Brand character can be a player without being an ******* or inauthentic - kinda runs contrary to the stereotype huh

and I'm from California and that was just a movie but if you played the numbers game and didn't give a fvck you could pull like that anywhere. it's kinda like the Apocalypse opener

I think it's ironic that you call "Fight Club" a DJ movie.

The whole movie is about self destruction and in the movie Tyler bashes any form of self improvement.

I agree! It's refreshing. Well of course with the numbers game, but I would think if you're playing the numbers game especially with a limited populace the girls won't be as attractive... the confidence does begin to soar, though.
