Don Juan
I wish i found this thread earlier. Has anyone got any succesful stories this semester.
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
Throw a kegger. Invite her. Done deal.Maxtro said:How the heck do you go from, "Hi, how was your weekend/what did you do" to "careful with your teeth"?
I small talk with a few girls at the beginning of class 3 times a week and I don't know how to go any farther.
The only thing I can think of and maybe pull off is suggesting that we go to the math lab (class requirement certain # of hours) together and do our homework. And maybe suggest lunch after that. But even then I'd probably be too nervous to even bring it up...
Why don't you learn to spell your field of study first. Geez. 70% chicks and more than half of them will be fat! The other half will wear flip-flops to class every single day. Sounds like an invitation to hell if you ask me.snowdog said:sweet. Next year finally normal college for me!!! no more home studying. Psycology baby, 70% chicks.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Since community college is smaller environment i guess its harder, but do you have and tips on what you did this semester especially first week of school or for number closes?stand said:About 8.
This post is really good.
I have had a ton of success in my first semester in college and I agree with everyone thing the OP has said.
I'd also advise everyone to be patient with class room game. There is no rush. You basically have a date with the girl every week. I pick out my targets early in the semester and about half way or a little after go for # closes - depending on the IOIs.
EDIT: I went 8/9 this semester with targets in my classes. I go to a community college so it's harder and the environment is totally different.
Says enough about you that you that you try to get some validation by pointing out spelling errors.meitenesrigas said:Why don't you learn to spell your field of study first. That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
Well, IMO the community college is different, because no one wants to be there. Classes are also a ton smaller and there is really no on campus activity at all.moto said:Since community college is smaller environment i guess its harder, but do you have and tips on what you did this semester especially first week of school or for number closes?
IME social groups are based primarily on subject choice and hall, it's very difficult to penetrate certain groups if you're not with them regularly.BLebowski said:Even if you're an engineering or compsci nerd and have nearly no women in class (or you have but they're warpigs), there are likely to be parties everywhere, every day of the week. Get to know the right crowd. I did CompSci myself and made sure to befriend a lot of people with different majors by joining clubs, doing sports and participate in stuff like vacations, field/excursion trips or other events.
This logically makes sense though being at a uni with 3/4 males and by doing physics it's hard to pinpoint reasons. Part of my fear is even if I went to a normal uni I'd have got nothing and I'd have no excuses. As for smiling and saying hi, that works well but there seems to be a lot more involved to sexing a girl/making her your gf. That works fine for chit chat and doing class work though.BLebowski said:Lastly, if you can't pickup chicks in college, there's no hope for you. Seriously, it's that easy. You only have to smile and say hi.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
Yea i was thinking indirectly.Mad Manic said:People forget uni approaching is not the same as cold approaching. There's more at stake because everyone is nosey and girls have a lot of social power with so many guys and girls in their reach. If you cold approach a uni girl and it goes wrong, IT could be toast. She tells people, by the next day you're classed as a creep who tries it on with girls. If you're gonna try it on with uni girls do it indirectly and with a get-out-clause. Make it seem like you're not hitting on her. That way if she doesn't dig you when you indirectly approach it doesn't matter as you never hit on her.
Stuational openers may well be your saviour in this type of environment. If you're clever enough to spot some that enable you to open without seeming weird, then it can be gold. I've done a few already and nearly closed, witty one liners etc. also work well. Just don't do what one guy did; he approached a girl he liked in the dark, said, 'Hi my name is x, I fancy you, erm would you like to go out for dinner with me sometime?'. BOOM.
MM
If you're holding doors open for a girl that's behind you, you can say 'I'd make a great door opening assistant ehh' then see how she reacts as to whether you can engage her in a convo. Or if you take the stairs and a girl comes out of the lift, you can say, "I just knew the stairs would be quicker haha". Or if you're talking to a girl about gym etc. you can say, "I do weights but not much cardio, I don't need to as the girls come round my flat each night to keep me busy *wink*". The last one works if you are good looking/built though.moto said:Yea i was thinking indirectly.
You have any examples of the situational openers you have used or witty one lines?
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
