"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

It isn't all about the sex, though the sex is awesome. It isn't really about the companionship (we all have our buddies), though spooning is nice, and it isn't about the arm candy, though we all want to flaunt it..... so what are we really doing chasing after tail in the first place?

Why we are on this site, why we have dedicated our mental capacities to figuring out women, and why we spend so much time breaking down our interactions comes down to our self-concept. I put forth we as guys want inner-confidence and high self-esteem just as much as we want 'great sex' and a deep connection with an awesome girl.

It starts on the inside fellas. We need to learn to love what we have and who we are. Everyone knows women respond to guys who are confident in their own skin and who respect themselves.

It's not easy. There is no such thing as a free meal, and there sure as hell is no such thing as an easy path to self-discovery. Get on the path, figure out what you need to do to improve your confidence. Get positive, stop beating yourself up, man-up and take responsibilty for your actions and move on. Do the best with what you have, and get real about changing yourself. Take a month, two months, three months, whatever and make a committment to yourself to stop the bull**** self-defeating talk that constantly pollutes your psyche. Force yourself to find things about you that are totally the ****. Think about them, don't brag outloud, but know what they are. When bad thoughts get in, squash them with your positive attributes.

Share it with us. I want to know what you are doing to be a more positive, enlightened dude. I want to know what you are doing, what you are saying to yourself, and what your negative thoughts are and continue to be. In place of self-abusive mindsets, what are you installing into your thought process?

This is real stuff and it has real effects on every area of your life. You can do it. That's not bs, you can really change yourself. Good luck.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I think about how getting caught up on "negative thoughts" doesnt help me get anywhere in my life. I also think of how I dont like hanging out with "negative nancys",so I never would like to be one.

In place of self-abusive mindsets, what are you installing into your thought process?
Just remember its life, everyone, yes even me,falls short sometimes.

Yes indeed, everyone notices how I have changed the past few years dramatically. Everyone says I have it all,the personality, the confidence, the women, the car, and the job...No one,not even my parents would have said that a year ago.

we get 10 posts like this every week

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I'm disappointed some people are so shortsighted and narrow in their interpretation of what I'm trying to say. Those of you who really focus on my point will ultimately realize the foundation of any successful change in the mind of an individual begins with a positive outlook on life and on yourself.

Sure it's easy for anyone to say ideas like these are just self-help boloney. But these are the same people who have mostly negative outlooks on life and consistently struggle to be comfortable in their skin. I don't even need to describe how women perceive them.

This is a forum for enlightened dudes who want to expand their minds. I'm not about to sit here and tell you everything you need to do to become more positive and self-aware. But it's out there, and I believe obtaining such knowledge is vital for success with women and life.

Help me see where I'm wrong here.

Oh and I don't believe sitting down and meditating and just spouting out words like a mantra will get you far. But doing that in addition to maintaining a positive outlook in all situations, associating with people who have similar mindsets, reading some good books about this stuff and working to develop other leadership attributes as well will gradually improve ones self-worth and confidence as a whole.
