"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

For Love or Money? Need advice.

First, thanks to SoSuave.net I’ve made some major changes in my life. After dealing with a devastating divorce in which my wife may or may not have cheated on me and made me feel worthless via sexless marriage, I have completely rebuilt myself thanks to the people here and I’m kicking a ton of ass in life.

I have gotten promoted, gained 15 lbs of muscle, have random women now making eye contact with me at bars, and generally living it up.

I gamed about 5 different women, pulled several kiss closes, and dropped all of them at the first sign of flakiness. What I have found is that when you drop a woman who flakes, they flip OUT and wonder why you are not kissing their ass and behaving like a modern AFC pvssy and chasing them. I don’t return their texts at all…and they HATE and love me for it. One girl even b!tched about me to a person who knows me and called me “a total womanizer”. I LOVE IT.

I just landed a new beautiful woman. Hotter than my ex-wife by a good margin. She’s 4 years older than me, is a manager at Fortune 500 company, never married, no kids. She is a major catch. I gamed her hard. Didn’t return texts, never called her, told her from the outset that I wear the pants and I do not take sh!t from anyone, kino’d her heavy, and screwed her on our third date.

After our fourth date, she layed in bed with me and stared at my body and face and called me a “beautiful man, inside and out” and “by far, the most attractive and intelligent man she has ever dated”, and “too good to be true”. She is hooked. We meet twice a week, I cook her dinner, and I blow her doors off with an hour of sex. She has bragged about me to all of her friends, and has invited me to stay a weekend at a rental mansion with her and her friends for a weekend in November. In addition, my job just gave me a four day vacation to a Florida resort in December and I’m allowed one guest – I’m thinking about bringing her. I cannot make this stuff up. Life is really coming together.

As luck would have it, I have just landed an interview with a large company that will pay me a substantial amount of money. Huge bonuses, yearly pay increases.

My former AFC ways have crept in. I am limiting communication with the girl in order to not get too emotionally involved and screw it all up. I have an opportunity to leave and move 2 hours away from her and build my career.
My gold digging ex-wife (who I don’t owe a dime to as we didn’t have kids) always complained that I didn’t make enough money. So she went off and started screwing an Associate Vice President of one of the divisions of the company she works for before our divorce was finalized. I took it personally, which was pretty AFC, but it forced me to make changes and I have upped my status in my career, and now I’m more attractive to employers (and women) because they all know my position of power.

But I’m becoming a pansy. I have fallen for this girl and I’m getting very AFC when she is not around. I’m going nuts. She is great. But I need some opinions and for some people to knock some sense into me.

This is one of those for love or money situations. I know I shouldn’t rely on a woman for my happiness – but I’m struggling with the fact that either decision is going to sting.

1. Stay with the beautiful who worships me and make less money at a good job?

2. Leave the beautiful woman and make a ton of money at great job?
Thanks.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I'm not driving across the state...and I'm not into LTR's. Right now, I'm 10 minutes away from her house. If I accept the job, I'd be an hour and a half away. I just can't handle that and need to be banged on the regular if I'm in a committed relationship.

Just because you mess with a chick doesn't mean you need to be in a LTR. You take the pay raise and if she is a cooperative chick she will drive to your new place and vice versa. I'm sorry but you have to be an idiot to not take this next job over this chick just because you like her.

Sorry - I meant LDR = Long distance relationship.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

This oppurtunity sounds like a once in a lifetime. Huge bonus, great job, YEARLY RAISE. If shes really into you, then she'll come with. But staying because of a girl... Sounds like something out of a movie. Depending on the salary difference, i would go.

But just note this oppurtunity may not show up again whilst another girl will. Plus you're even doubting yourself and thinking about AFC ways, what if you give in and she looses attraction? You'll start chasing. You'll have the same job and no girl.

If you do take the job, this time around you will have more have status and power. She either comes with or gets left behind. Or you will simply find another. Better job, more status.

Absolutely no contest. You've handled this girl well, now its time to take the next step.

Your life is so much more than your sex/relationship life.

Take the money.

Agreed with everyone else. I know how hard it is to leave a girl when you're invested in them, but the money is a much better option.

As the song goes.. Money money it's so funny in a rich man's world

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Yes, she is 4 years older....take the money and job, continue to develop yourself physically and emotionally and new, younger p00n will materialize in your new area. Keep her around until it fizzles due to distance...and it will.

Had a great girl who was a dynamo in the sack, her job moved her just 30 minutes further away and I bailed...too difficult to arrange hook ups.

So let's sum this up:

- She is a middle-aged cougar
- Has a better job than you
- You cook her dinner
- You consider her a "catch"
- She calls you "a beautiful man"

You see where I'm going with this, don't you?

Money can't BUY you happiness but, you can sure RENT it! Ditch the b!tch and grab the cash.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Don't be a fool, M.O.B man. At the end of the day, she's not paying your bills and you're completely responsible for your career, your future and it's up to you to reach your earning potential.

As long as your status increases, the women will too. Stick to your original plan, obviously you're starting to reap the benefits and more will come. My advice is to cash in and get your money.

Haha...you're either calling me a faggot, or you are implying that I'm getting a free ride by being a boy toy.

Well...

I make more than she does, she's blown away by my cooking skills because I lived alone most of my life and know my **** when it comes to making the best meal, she calls me beautiful because I'm in the gym or running 6 days a week, so I have no body fat at all, and her other options are overweight 45+ year old men with 3 plus kids who try to hit on her at her office. So, I'm her prize by far.

I do have other options - mainly pump and dumps, but she is seriously better looking than most 25-30 to year olds in this town who are just looking for a free ride like my ex-wife and want kids with whoever can foot the bill and buy them designer hand bags. No thanks. I have no respect for gold diggers.

Plus, she's exponentially smarter and holds a conversation than 95% of the girls I've met in the past decade. This puts me in a bind, as I'm finally connecting with someone who meets my requirements for a good partner.

Your best case scenario is to move on and pursue your career and if she's into you, she will move where you're at to be with you. If an exclusive relationship is what you're after, then that may be what you should aim towards doing. It's a win-win situation.

Even if she decides not to move when you move, you'll be more well off financially so it's still a win-win for you.

.....................but she's older than you!!!!!

It matters.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
