"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Iv been around this board for awhile and have been out with about 7 or 8 chicks since joining(the success rate with them all varied). By no means am I done studying the art of women, I still learn a little more every day. Iam somewhat lost on the last chick and my success with her(Iam 18,1st year in college, she is 17,junoir in high school). Quick input, chick came into my job,got her number(Wedsday),called her up set up a date(Friday),went out for mini-golf then the mall(Saturday). The date went great, she was a little sheltered at first but after the mall her body language was completely open to me(*she mentioned during the date that she just got out of a long relationship, but I just kept the conversation going). While arriving at her house she asked if I was coming in,I said "sure". Back at her house I met her family(her mom tried to test me but I passed all questions),I played some bingo with her little brother and sister(just to annoy her and score points with her family) and then we settled on the couch and watched a couple of movies. During that time she cuddled up to me while everyone was around. After the first movie she was trying to get rid of siblings and friends that were over,so we could be more alone. We kissed and made out(tongue of course) and just hung out until 3 in the morning. I left and thought to myself,"I have this made". I called her the day after(Sunday) and she picked up and her phone disconnected,I tried back later no answer,no biggie. She came into my job the following day(Monday) with her friend and friends dad to grab some food. I talked to her real quick and out of no where she said that her phone battery died the other night. I went to call her(Tuesday) to set up a date to go out on Wedsday(I have the day off work),she didnt pick up but I left a message and she calls back. She tells me that she is going back out with her old boyfriend and I responded with "oh thats cool",trying not to lose my cool and acting like I dont care. She said she doesnt want to lose me though, claiming "I'm hecka tight" and that she wants me to "call her up sometime". I tried to not make much of it being playful saying stuff like "you women kill me" and "I thought you dropped the hero and got with her hero". With her saying "call me up sometime" her women way of saying "hey stay in touch for a day when I dont have a boyfriend"? Anyone have any expierences like this?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I think you should have called her a little less to setup dates. Disappearing for a while would have built up her interest in you.

Don't do the 'keep in touch' thing. If she wants to talk, let her call you.

Stop messing around with high school girls. You are in college and you're an adult now, move on to bigger and better things. The 'trying to get rid of siblings and friends that were over' stuff is over for you. You are around mature women (*cough*), with their own apartments, cars, etc. Take advantage of it.
