Yeah, killing dogs is barbaric compared to
- Killing 6 million jews
- Sending people to gulags
- Killing the natives
- Colonizing and enslaving other countries

The thread starter, if you are not racist, why are you descriminating against pigs (which has the same intelligence as dogs as shown by research)? What makes it okay to kill a pig?

Just because these things are bad does not mean other things are not bad, too. Your argument is so desperately flawed.
