You're probably feeling intense anger, disbelief and bewilderment at how someone could have treated you this way. If you were particularly enamoured with this woman, you're probably searching for meaning right now. Well, let this song and its lyrics be your message to her.

In time they will regret what they've done, but when they come back and you ignore, you've finally won. You'll be the one man in her life who was such high value that he could walk away from her and never look back, you'll be the one who got away. It might take some time, but that moment of sweet vindication will happen if you stay strong, and realise in the meantime that they broke up with you probably because of one or more of the reasons below:
Feared you'd break up with them, so they 'pre-emptively abandon'
Felt inferior to you, so did this as an act of 'defensive devaluation'
Saw they couldn't control you with their various sh!t testing, so they discarded you because they felt powerless with you
You saw through their mask and they couldn't tolerate the ugly image of themselves that you were reflecting back at them
You had the decency to love them and they know that they cannot love you back, so they reject for BS reasons like a coward.
Either way, although they've gaslit you and projected their own problems on you to the extent that you're feeling of inferior right now, the reality is just the opposite. All their behaviour revolves around their deep insecurities. Even as they were splitting on you and painting you blacker than black, internally they see you as the better person than themselves, and their shame at this has become too unbearable for them.
It won't feel like it right now, but you've actually already won.
