Flirted witht he girl for 8 months, now we're both single...prom?

i guess its not a big deal, and i should be making a thread, but my wisdom doesnt know how to go about this actual situation. and no, its not about HOW to ask her.
I just became 100% single, no if ands or buts. This girl in my weight training class just dumped her college boyfriend of like a year, yesterday. I've flirted with this girl for the whole school year, even called her on occation to chill but she really jsut doesnt go out much, she doesnt party. Shes actually called me twice to chill, but once i was out of town and drunk, so that got kinda ****ed up, fun remember the other reason.
She JUST got single, and was almsot in tears today when she told me, but i cheered her up abit. Shes def a HB8.5 or 9, apparently a BUNCH of guys are trying to ask her now. I wasnt considering her cause i honeslty want to get my D wet at prom..but maybe it can happen now.
Is it uncalled for for prom to be one of the first dates you ever go on?

That's funny, because I'm in almost the exact same situation, except I already asked the girl to prom.

And that's a good question, and my opinion is that it's not uncalled for, but it would be better if you went out with her a few times. I plan on calling my girl this weekend and hopefully go on 2-3 dates before prom so that she is more comfortable alone with me.

I say definitely ask her, then go on a few dates with her too.

prom shouldn't really be the first date, it could but why don't you set up some dates after you ask her to prom, before prom

well two things you wanna get " your D wet" lol and you want a prom date most the time they come in one package she will def say yea to prom if yall been flirting girls always want to go to prom and will go with almost anyone if they can tollerate them, now the fact it is prom she will be arroused how ever the hell you spell it that means shell probley be like horney or willin to do stuff because of the whole excitement of the event kind of like goin to the beach for spring break makes ya just wanna cut loose have fun. And if yall have been flirting then good chance some stuff should go on i dont know the girl personaly so idk how she is but most ppl Like me is goin to a party after prom that makes things even more interesting and more of a chance of getting laid so just ask her flirt take her **** her and date her if you like her that much that easy

You call her up to just chill together? (Your probably in the friend zone.) Then, when she gets dumped; she comes crying to you "her friend" to complain about her problems to you?

Finally, she has other guys trying to get with her.. So don't be like all the other needy guys and just hang back a lil. Set up a date with her once or twice a week. Get to know her on a different level then ask her.

its w/e, she got asked by another guy before I could n said yes. But i got a date with another HB8[though this b!tch is kinda crazy i hear] that I barely know.
I just said "Hey lindsey who are you going to prom with?"
"No one"
"Alright how about you go with me."

worked like a charm. too bad i later found out she was told by this girl i fvcked-over that i was gonna ask her lol.
