Flirt in Class...Next Step?

There's a girl I like at my school who is a grade below me. We have one class together and we're in the same work group so we flirt with each other quite a bit. I occassionally run into her in the halls but otherwise in class is the only time I talk with her.

Since I've come to the conclusion she is interested, my question is: what is the next step toward a relationship? I feel like I've waited too long to do anything (stalled due to interest in another girl), but now is my chance.

I already have her email and facebook, but if I ask her for her number or invite her to go somewhere, then what exactly do I do AFTER that (and how would I make it not awkward)? I've never had a girlfriend who goes to my school, so this process of breaking away from the classroom chatting is somewhat new to me.

One really awesome thing I've come up with, is to take a class with her. What ever your into! Yoga, cooking, you could just go to the gym together! This is a great buffer date, as it doesn't look like a date, sound like a date, or feel like a date, but it grows the relationship like 10 dates!
This is a way to get a consistent "non-date" together.
