"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Girl: Is this a fling or something serious?
Me: That's an awkward question, do you ask this to everyone you beat in bowling?

Came back from bowling to my place, gave her a shot and we talked. All was good. We were making out, then she said she had to go to a "get together" that she mentioned beforehand.

Whatever, NC for you =)

Per the question, how would you respond?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

My standard reply to this shyt is: "Well, I figured we could just hang out and see what happens. I'm not looking to settle down at the moment but you seem cool and I'd like to get to know you better."
Then bone them for a few weeks or until she pushes the relationship point and bail.

^SOLID statement.

Her birthday is today, but I planned to go no contact. Should I send a quick witty text?

Can't hurt but it's going to have to be good.

Not just a simple: "Happy Birthday!", you're going to have to escalate.

Something like: "Wow, so you're 23 today? I think you might be getting just a bit old for me. Soon, you'll be wanting to settle down, get married, have kids....."
Hopefully, she'll reply with something like: "Ha! Get out! That is a loooong way off."
You: "Well that's good news! I'm willing to forget the age thing this once and take you for a drink somewhere. I like to call it "InnerHappiness drinks". Instead of me buying you a birthday drink, you buy me two. Deal?"

I don't know what she's like but that's something l'd send to a couple of plates I'm working at the moment.
