"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Alright so my ltr of 1.5 years broke up with me 3 months ago (I fell into the classic AFC beta provider frame). I did no contact and its done wonders, I feel as if I have no attachments left. Over the past three months I have been using principles of Don Juan in daily life and my success with girls has never been better. There is this one case with a girl that I would like clarification on, however. I swear its not oneitis but just pure confusion. So a girl which I knew in high school, before going to college, who often flirted with me despite having a boyfriend at the time (I was in my ltr with my ex), came back into my life. Me and this girl had set up dates and hang outs before and of the three times we were to hang out, one time she had to cancel because of sickness (actually was sick, went to hospital), one time I canceled, and the third we actually hung out, went to one of my fraternity parties, and I was able to escalate and we hooked up and set up a date for later. Here's the thing though, the next day I saw her around college and she was acting weird. And then for the date, when I sent her a reminder for the date, she told me she had an exam during that time which she had not thought about while drunk and didnt try to set up an alternative date. Did I mention this girl is friends with my ex and we all 3 go to the same university. Either way I feel like this is a case of buyer's remorse. I'm not sure if she feels bad because she betrayed a friend or just lost interest with me in general for some reason. I am curious whether to next her or go no contact for 2 weeks and then re initiate. Also, what do you think her reasoning is for quick change from high to low interest.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
