Oh noez its reborn/lifeforce spewing the same rehashed crap again.

Well today folks Im gonna go into a little more detail instead of just yelling "Get to the ****ing gym" at the top of my lungs. As effective and subtle that method is I think it will benefit you more if I go into detail to describe how and why this is so effective. Health and fitness is remarkably empty while the don juan discussion forum is very frequently visited. It should be the other way around.

FIRST STATEMENT

When people imagine lifting weights they imagine getting a better looking body. They imagine ripped abs, big arms and wide shoulders. If you work out well this is very much attainable but it's also not the only thing you will get when you lift.

You see, the body and the mind are linked together. If we got really bad confidence then our body will naturally shrink together, the shoulders will slouch and head may look down. However if we are very confident then we thrust our chest forward, we hold our head high and we push our shoulders back.

One of the many benefit people often say about lifting is the "You get better posture from lifting". This is true for most people who lift. So imagine if you get yourself getting a better posture from lifting, shoulders back, chest forward and head high. Now since body and mind is linked together how do you think this posture would effect your mind? Yes, it will make you feel alot more confident and happier. It is also proven that lifting will increase testosterone creation and the release of endorphines making you feel more "in charge" and happy.

SECOND STATEMENT

When you start to look better you will also notice the change you have in people, especially women. They will start to glance at you more, even blatantly check you out, I've even had random girls grab my ass in the store or whistle at me when I walk past them.

What is one thing hot women have? A ***** shield. Why do they get this? Because they have so many men hitting on them they use it to limit the amount of people to whom she speak. With the increased attention from women you can afford to start becoming more picky. The better you look and the more confident you get from the testosterone and the happier you get from having endorphines flushed into your system three-four times a week the more you can start to be more selective.

Girls you previously found to be very attractive you now suddenly start to notice error with. She has a high fat%age, she is self centered, she has bad confidence. Women you would try to "seduce" you are now rejecting because A. They become unattractive to you, B. You know you can afford to reject women because many are attracted to you. This in turn open you up to get hotter and hotter women. I nearly slap myself when I think of the women I worshiped before.

The best part about looking good is that you do not need to overcome the girls status she get from looks. You are equal, you can judge her personality and she knows it. Just make sure you grab your balls and don't hesitate.

THIRD STATEMENT

Men and women, especially men respond well to the size of men. A large guy will initially command more respect and have people listen to him. If he can back this attention up with being social then he WILL be the leader of the group without effort.

I started to notice this phenomena when I breached 185-190 pounds. I used to be a guy who followed another person and no one ever made me leader when I was 135 lbs weakling. The combination of size, confidence from the testosterone and status I began to become leader in groups. It was a little scary at first. People started to follow me when I was walking with people. If I stopped they stopped, if I changed direction they followed. They never made any other effort than to follow my lead. Most importantly when I spoke people listened. People could ignore me or interrupt me when I was 135 lbs but now they pay attention alot more and value my opinion.

FOURTH STATEMENT

When you know you have a good looking body then it will not be a hinder when you do things. A fat guy might feel self conscious about his belly or a skinny guy might feel powerless (a very emasculating feeling for a man). When you got a jacked body it will empower you instead. You can draw power from knowing that you look good and that people envy you.

Lifting is also one of the few sports where you have to give 100% at all times to get results. This can easily spill over into other areas of your life. If you are faced with a challenge then you can draw strength from the dedication you have to go to the gym. You know you cannot cut corners in the gym to get results and you also learn not to cut corners when it comes to doing your work properly.

FIFTH STATEMENT

There are alot of myths around about women. That women go for the inside or that women don't like muscles. These are all made up lies by people who need to justify themselves being smaller than the jacked guy. There is nothing worse for a person than to find out that another person is better. To avoid feeling like crap because of it we make up small lies "He may be big, but I am smart, he is stupid" or "I live a healthy life, he take steroids, he will die young". Why else would these stereotypes exist? The stupid, steroid abusing meathead. If you actually talk to most of the big dudes they are cool and friendly. Magnus Samuelsson is a great example.

The truth is that ALOT of women if not all get as turned on by a hot body as a man. ALOT of the HOT women get turned on by muscles. They love the feeling of having a manly arm around them and hugging a big dude because it makes them feel safe, it makes them feel feminine to surrender their safety to their man. Muscles is of course not the only way to do this but it comes as a bonus. If you do not believe me than go check the comment HOT women leave to some jacked dudes on different places online. If you see a jacked guy on the bus notice if the girls heads are turning.

_____________________________________________________

Any man can approach a woman and talk to her, but do you have the balls to change your body and change your life? If you do not believe me that simply lifting can get you all this then go here and ask the people in there how lifting has effected their life.

Now get to the ****ing gym

Really, I always thought women preferred mens bodies like Brad Pitt in Fight Club or Snatch or a body like swimmer Ian thorpe.

NOT somebody jacked like Vin Diesel or Matthew McConaughey

BTW, HEIGHT still triumps all!! A 6'0 tall man with an average build is still going to appeal to women more than some 5'6" jacked pitbull.

HEIGHT is more masculine and intimidates more than muscles!!

So I totally agree with you.

But.

Most of the benefits you are describing come from the internal shift that results from lifting. That's the most important part. Although lifting is fantastic it isn't the only way to do that and it is only part of the picture.

Dude that's a load of bull****. So a tall lanky or fat guy is going to turn a women on more that a shorter guy with a great body? And girls find Ian Thorpe better than Vin Diesel? Personally I think you just have a fetish for lanky dudes.

One of the fallacies of the whole community is that women are generalized and it's believed that everyone woman likes and is attracted to the same thing. Believe it or not different women will prefer different body types. There's even girls out there that like pudgy or skinny guys. Now they might be the small majority but they do exist. So me giving you crap in the above paragraph is indeed contradictory because SOME girls will prefer those body types.

What's not important is how you look, it's how the look makes women FEEL. If you are ripped it may turn a women on, but there are also other ways you can do this. If you are tall it might make her feel safe but there are other ways you can do this. Yes those things might be an advantage but they are a small part of the big picture. Most guys have enough baggage holding them back about there height without guys who don't really get it shouting fallacies like this all the time. There are SOME girls out there that may not date you because you are short, but they are only a few.

I know one guy who get more girls then anyone I know. He gets very attractive girls and gets heavy action with them too. The thing is he's skinny as hell, seriously he is mostly bone, and he isn't very tall. I was talking to him one day and he said 'You know, girls love skinny chicks guys. I don't know they just love it.'. Wow. That's his reality, and it becomes true for him. That belief enables him to be successful where other guys are held back. It also helps that he also believes all girls are horny and want to be ****ed. That was a pretty big moment for me.

It's like the ol' saying goes: Attraction isn't a choice.

And seriously am I the only guy who sees small alpha guys getting hot girls?

I'm not trying to make excuses for people to not look after their bodies and their health. I just hate it when I see people making it everything when it's one piece of the puzzle. People here always grab something and make it the whole picture. "I get it, the key is to be funny and I'll attract every girl I know!", "wow why didn't I realize before that looks are the only thing that matters", "hey I didn't know all I needed was a pickup line!", "oh my god I just need nice shoes and I will get laid like a pimp!". There are hundreds of variables that make up the big picture. There's your body language, eye contact, state, what you say, the pace of your voice, your vocal tone, your facial looks, your body, your style, your humour, your kino etc etc etc etc. None of this is really as important as WHO YOU ARE.

My belief is that getting big from going to the gym is only part of what makes you attractive. Putting the effort in yourself hints at the fact that you believe you are worth it which increases your self-esteem and your value and makes you a very attractive person. And yes you will see a post over 6 thousand words explaining all that soon.

Sorry man I didn't mean to take over your thread, I just ended up on big rant. I agree, go to the gym

Actually Im not telling you that all women will like you if you're improving your life by lifting. I'm saying that a great deal of HOT women will like you.

The poor guy being 5'6", should he just roll over and give up because he's short or should he spit on the ground, pull up his sleeves and do the best goddamn work he can to become a great man?

Feel free to write a post about "Be longer and you get alot of women" Im sure you'll get a throng of followers for your illuminating post.

From what I know, my friends who have I have gotten to start lifting are all alot more alpha now. One has found the love of his life, one has gone from a lazy bum to a freaking alpha, a third is on his way. Lifting isn't about the muscles you get, it's the fighting spirit and the confidence and pure guts you get.

(Tis guy above is a perfect example of the fifth statement "he may be big, I am tall, but he's not tall")

Go ahead and hijack. Im not here to become famous or get praised. I just want to tell what worked wonders for me and get people away from the thing that did not work. (seduction techniques). I hate writing long posts anyway, I'm used to just saying "Do that". :p

Haha no problem man it's a good post. I'm no longer about 'seduction techniques', I believe it true transformation of yourself. I also write too many long posts for my own good =p I think that too many people these days ignore there body as just that thing that's in between there head and their balls. It's actually an important part of us, and if we improve it it serves as a good base for everything else in our life.

That being said I think one of the biggest and most overlooked benefits of strength training is what you get mentally. Like you talk about it builds inner strength. You need to be disciplined to stick to your routine and diet. Lifting helps you gain focus and presence in your life, as well as helping you deal with intensity so you aren't stressed out as much mentally. By putting in the effort in training you learn to bring more to the table in your whole life.

I also read that regular strength training improves cognition by 30% and decision making by up to 70%! Decision making is a big part of making you alpha! I mean when you add the confidence, better health and better looking body it almost seems silly not to. =p

Reborn when you see me post The Great Myth Of Confidence sometime soon, you should check it out, I think you will like it.

I guess the real question here is...what does everyone bench? ...

Ive gotten signifcantly bigger over the past year and since coming back to school, people and espeically girls have noticed, a good step to becoming a dj is going to the gym.

Yea working out is great, I have been working out since I was 17. I am 5'6 and actually love my height. The muscle packs on great on my frame, and I can get a larger look without sacraficing agility and speed. I also never ever ever ever have girls tell me I am short, EVER. Even when the chick is taller then me because of my build that completely makes up for my height.

Going to the gym is one of the best things anyone can do for themselves. Its beneficial in so many ways, and the best way to do it is with a friend.

PS-
I got up to 245 LBS on bench press this year, with 5 reps but find it a bit of a strain on my body when I only at the moment weigh 155 LBS. I mainly stick to benching 205 LBS and focus on increasing reps now, I am up to 15 reps on 205.

But bench press is fairly over rated, you need to focus on a full body workout.

in my opinion, everyone has the ability to attract hot women. working out is beneficial in many areas in your life, but its not the only thing that matters. its like in sports, where the more athletic people have the advantage but theyre not always the best players (no pun intended lol). so i would encourage just about everyone to work out but remember that you can pull girls just the way u are right now (IF u hav self confidence)

Speaking to the converted. Been doing it for 18 months now and also eating well. Does absolutely wonders for the older guys - as there are not many slim muscular guys out there. Most blokes my age are fat with huge beer boeps.
Also with age, unless you push weights, your testosterone levels increase - who need Viagra?
