First Date Location Ideas

Hey I'm looking for some ideas for POF first dates. I live in a small city but its large enough that i should be able to find most suggestions. I was looking for something that would be casual but still have interaction between the two of us. So I'm leaning against restaurants (way too to much pressure to quickly create conversations) and Movie theatres ( the two of you go and sit and watch a movie theres absolutely no bonding? i'd do that with my grandma..). What i originally had thought was skating or miniature golf or along those lines. Just wanted to see what better ideas were out there. I'm not looking for a one nighter these dates would be with girls i'd like to date…I know how AFC of me… as a side note I'm a university student so activities appropriate for that age category would be appreciated.

I've heard shıtty things from other guys here regarding POF chicks so be warned. As a first date, though, keep it cheap, you have no idea who is going to show up and with what personality. Go for coffee or a drink so you can bust out any time if the shıt hits the fan blades.

1) What has this chick,done to warrant being taken ice skating or miniature golfing? Don't you think those type of activities should be reserved for girlfriends?

2) How is taking this chick, (a stranger that you only know from the internet,) skating or miniature golfing going to help you

a) transition from male-to-female to female-to-male interest?

b) build rapport?

c) build comfort?

d) have this chick see you romantically, as oppose to her "gay boyfriend."

Your plans give her benefits and the attention of a relationship without her ACTUALLY being in one. What you're purposing is a net/sum gain for her and a potentially net loss for you. You obviously want to f*ck this chick and all of your actions and plans need to be directed to achieving this mission objective.

As V.P. said, take her to coffee or drinks, and keep that tab under $40. Good luck.

Rex has it. Simple coffee date is usually my default for online girls. That way you can get the fvck outta there if you're not feeling it.

Spend less than 10 bucks on them. Anything more is a waste of money. You're taking them out to bang later on. not getting to know them for future dates.

Thanks for the help. Now that i think about it a couple drinks sounds like what i'll do. Just a little distracted by some of these HB's Clearly still a lot of learning left to do.
