"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Everything was going great til she flaked on tonight. Excuses include:
-met up with old boyfriend last night at a party
-does not feel like it
-weather is terrible

What's my best move now? I don't want to completely burn the bridges, but just to let her know I'm no chump.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Same situation.

I had mentioned to take this girl out for her birthday, Saturday. Well! No call or text, and I saw she had posted a status about partying with her friends. Asking guys to message her, too! Why doesn't she message me? I messaged her nicely with a happy birthday... and she can't go out of the way to message me...

Also asking herself why her roommates have guy friends, but not her.

I say forget her!

This happens so frequent with me. They always end up being everything they say they aren't. She said "Sorry for that, I'm not a ***** as you may think by me *****ing at you."
HA!

She is attention seeking, wanting 15 guy friends.

Ever since I get women that flake and don't know what they want, I've gotten a tough skin.

Forget her, date more women (as people on here always say), and see if she comes around!

next man...it's a wrap...very low interest on her part and probably banging old Bf and others...this type of stuff happens all the time with new chicks that you haven't banged yet who have low interest..just forget her and get more...nothing really to it...

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Did I chump it?

Me: Ok
Her: I'm sorry
Me: So where does that leave us?
Her: I like you but I am just not ready for a relationship
Me: Well it was good while it lasted. All the best for your pursuits

We are in the same medical degree so I did not want to completely burn the bridges in case we have to work together in the future. So now it's no contact although I don't expect to hear from her.

Funny. If this was the AFC beta me of a few years back, I would have had this burning pain in my heart and been sad for a couple of weeks and would have let this thing blow up big time. Yet this time round, I'm disappointed but at least I still have friends and a social life and sporting persuits I can turn to; not to mention study and work.

Cheers to DJ for teaching me the ways!

I bit... She messaged that 'we could be friends couldn't we?'
I replied I have enough friends and told her good bye.

This is my last post so hopefully a few experienced heads can tell me if I handled this right? No contact officially starts from now on and heightening my social life, plates and sporting persuits.

Cheers all.

Shouldn't have asked "So where does that leave us?" She kind of already gave you the hint. So just beating a dead horse is all.

I don't like where that last sentence is going .

I personally don't like the idea of completely removing someone new(unless she's seriously f*cked you over), especially a girl who has social connections with other females. Plus, she's in your medical degree so you're going to be seeing her I'm guessing.

I would of of said: "Only if you introduce me to your cute single friends (;"
And if in real life, just smile/grin.

You showed you were hurt. Therefore you were outcome dependent. Somebody who isn't, would of made it playful and secretly in their favor.

Always expand your social network. Just because a girl rejects you, doesn't mean she doesn't know 30 other hot girls. Even if she's ugly, she knows at least ONE hot friend.

Its fine. You handled it well.

Generally doing whatever the **** you feel will get you a lot farther than doing anything rehearsed or strategized.

My strategy- double book dates. Make sure you have lots of active numbers. If you feel certain about a chick, still don't trust your gut feeling and collect more numbers.

Double booking means if one flakes, you won't care. And if they both want to show up, then cancel on the less attractive one.

Works like a charm for me, and you won't even care when some drop out. Just like the sun rises and sets, chicks are gonna flake. Have contingency plans....

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Its always easy to blame the girl, call her an AW & flake when you aren't getting the results you want.

The fact that you said this happens to you frequently is more telling.

Its your game that needs changing. Figure out where your going wrong.

Without knowing you anything about you aside from this post, I would say you come off a bit needy, which is a huge attraction killer.

Dude, your princess is in another castle, and dropping hints that she is! And your need for clarity here doesn't help.

Dropping this girl is the best thing that is for you. Burn that bridge and don't look back. The ex has her and she likes him more than you. Sorry. Move on. That's my ruling and claritin clear for your ass.

Case closed. Exit the courtroom.

Yeah I wouldn't have asked "Where does this leave us?" Although you could have said something sly after she said "I like you but I'm not ready for a relationship" maybe something like "Who said anything about a relationship? I'm just trying to have some fun...."

Tell her to go fist herself.

Unless you are just trying to smash her, girls like that aren't LTR material.
