I am no fan of Notre Dame nor do I like their coach, so I hope after going 0-3 and not scoring an offensive touchdown will lead to his firing somewhere down the road.

Why don't I like him?

He is coaching one of the most respected and most famous college football programs, LOSE SOME WEIGHT for Christ sakes, STOP DRESSING LIKE A SLOB and STOP BEING ARROGANT.

I just drove out of my way to watch arkansas hand gift wrap a game they shoul dhave won by 28. they shouldn't have been on the same field with arkansas and Nutt blows the game by throwing with 3rd down and ala no timeouts with 2 mintues left, gives them the ball, and they win with 2 seconds left on the damn clock..

*ahem* I would like to take this opportunity, and I'm sure it's been done in countless other threads over time, to bash Notre Dame right in the face with a helmet, Miami-style.

Every year they pull the same Irish jig - get spanked by one or more Big Ten opponents, trounce the bottom feeders of the Big East and ACC, and beat up the service academies, only to finish by losing to USC in a matchup that's over-hyped from their near-Immaculate record. If they didn't happen to get upset by some 4-8 team along the way, there's always "national championship implications" going into that rivalry game against the Trojans.

Things will continue to deteriorate for the Irish until they decide to get with the times and either join a conference or play a competitive schedule for the full season. Otherwise, their attractiveness to top-tier recruits will continue to decline. And yes, their good ol' boy coach exacerbates the recruiting problem.

they USED to have a hella schedule when I was a kid. I used to not miss ND play. USC, FSU, Miami, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Michigan..

now? they have cream puffs on their schecule.

man i would love to see ND on our schedule. that's as good as a rent a win
