"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Hi All,

Anyone have good resource for helping me with the financial devastation of a divorce? I married in California to a woman, who came in with nothing into a 3-year marriage and is trying to walk out with half my assets through a litigious divorce that has lasted 3+ years and is nearly bankrupting me. If anyone out there has any help advice on good asset preservation/attorneys, please contact me.

Sincerely,

Shervin

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

The key word to take from OP’s post is ‘California’ …
A divorce in that state is the wife’s turn to screw the man.

Hmm. Do you have kids? DadsDivorce.com is a great resource for dude's going through a divorce; kids or not. Cali is a community property state. That means, everything you've purchased since married is legally half hers; unless you have a pre-nup. Your attorney should also be a men's right's attorney, not just a regular divorce attorney. To be clear, there are female men's rights attorneys as well.

Optimally, the best option would be to settle without bringing in scumbag lawyers.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

The fairest division is where both parties are equally unhappy...

You committed to it now it's time to get out...That comes at a price. That price is 1/2 of the assets you acquired in the 3 year time period. Plain and simple. Accept that it is unfair, and make your best deal. Where you will save money is by keeping billable hours to a minimum.

Heed your attorney's advice and get out of that mudhole as quickly as possible. I ended a 20 year marriage, and rebuilt my retirement to Pre divorce levels in 5 years. I kept the house (after buying her out) I would have been making the payments on anyway.

Focus on keeping the relationships with your KIDS if there are any. As for complaining "it isn't FAIR"? Yeah well we knew that going in. (or at least you do now). You are GONNA HAVE A REAL HARD YEAR/ Plan on it. But you have time to recover.

Richard Cooper; website:: https://entrepreneursincars.com used to deal and help guys like you with these divorce train crashes in the past.
Not sure how it is now.
But like @Billtx49 mentioned Cali is a horrible state in terms of family law, (and for many other reasons too), and you need to get fvck out of it.

And you must get a really good lawyer. However prepare yourself for losing all your shiet, because the chance that is happens is very real..
This will never weigh in your favor(It never does for most guys). Almost in all cases the women win in family court.
Especially in leftist Cali.

Why does someone not living in the USA have such a strong opinion on the State of California’s family court system?

California law is objectively sh!t in almost every possible category. Playing identity politics to invalidate someone's opinion doesn't make the truth go away.

It is clearly an uninformed opinion.

I find it interesting that so many black pill men go on the internet, marry a woman than assume every $1 acquired during that marriage isn’t going to be split during divorce.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

do have one kid; and the prenup, which had all the right checkmarks, was just found invalid b/c the judge ruled that she signed under duress! Thanks for sharing that site; i'll check it out

Still doesn’t pass the smell test. Curious to know the details.
I told her if I were to marry her within 6 months, then she would need a prenup and she agreed; then, she sat in court and said that she did not want to sign it; and the judge invalidated the prenup;

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

that's cali law for you
Rare for a judge to do that. You can appeal that ruling.
I smell a rat. This whole thing doesn’t sound right. Are you trolling us OP?

Please do tell me than you @docafc have a good strong prenup validated by a good lawyer.
In Cali you could end up losing not just 50% but 100% of your stuff which is what happened to this guy in the video below.
(NB play the video on speed X 2.0 to save time.)
He used to live in Cali too for 20 years. His Wife got it all, including 100% ownership of his company and he walked away with nothing.
She ripped him clean and took it all.
