Finally i asked her

Thursday after school i went up to the girl i liked and i asked her if she was going to our winter formal at school she said she didnt know b/c she didnt like getting all dressed up and wearing a dress i said after that well at homecoming you had a dress and and she said yes i did then she said hey are you asking me to go with you to the winter formal and i said yes . the whole time we were talking she was smiling after i said yes she said she'd think about it n we both smiled at each other and walked away...now wat does this mean the "she'd think about it" does the smile make a difference? a little help plez?

Firstly, you didn't ask her out - she asked you as you weren't being direct.

This is probably the reason she told you she would think about it - as technically you didn't deserve a yes, certainly not right there and then since you didn't assert yourself and ask her directly.

Depending on the chick, it could be good or bad. That's a judgement for you to make - you know her better. What type of person is she?

First off, congrats. You rock, man. I asked one of my best friends to HC as such:

As she was walking to her car
Me: "Eh, you were thinking of going to homecoming right?
Her: "yea."
Me: "Aight, because I was thinking of mysteriously appearing at your house and kidnapping you but I couldn't think fo anywhere to take you"
Her: *smiling* Alright I'll see you on Saturday.

Yea, I went the whole 9 yards on it, but she turned out to hate dances and only went for me. She didn't even lie about how much she didn't like it after. Ah well, now I'm just messing around with her because she really seems way too oblivious and removed from life for me and that is exactly how I don't want to end up.

You did the right thing, maybe not in the right way, though I'm not sure if it was wrong (you'll have to ask a pro about that, Im a total newb when it comes to "game"). Nonetheless, taking action is very important to being a man and that's exactly what you did so rock onwards!
